Last week before the flip and they are burning through nutes now. with a 275 target ppm in the 15gallon res, the plants are currently bringing that down about 100ppm in a day. I decided to go one more week after installing the SCROG to fill in the far corners of the canopy. I topped a few of the taller cola at the start of the week and used lst to try to keep the canopy at scrog level but still gained 3-4 inches of height above the trellis. Will probably add a second net in early bloom to level it out a bit.

Week 1 of Flower. Trimmed about 10% of the the canopy to remove some of the larger fan leaves blocking out the lower cola. also installed some AC duct fans and a high cfm kit so the environment controller will be able to keep a VPD between 1.0 and 1.5. The ss haze got a little bit out of hand but the environment is still barely manageable. Right now I have to push 175-210 cfm through the lil 3x3 in the day(with an outside average of 41% / 75F) just to keep 55% inside which is the upper limit of my duct fan. I will probably have to start pruning around 20% of the growth in coming weeks.

Nothing too different this week. defoliated about 10% of the upper canopy at the start of the week to clear light for the lower bud sites. Continuing canopy management with LST.

sticking with the trend of defoliating about 10% of the upper canopy once a week. Decided to prune off about 10% of the lower branches as well to allow for better airflow cause the SSH was really staring to take over its room mate

Last week of the stretch I anticipate. Plants are still stretching about half an inch/day but the budlets are really starting to thicken up at this point. If that starts to slow down by the end of the week then I plan to have one last hard defoliation on day 7 to remove all remaining fan leaves and officially mark the end of early bloom. Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know your thoughts about my defoliation practices thus far in the bloom phase. Im open to feedback! Day 1: started off this week again with another 10% fan leaf reduction to even out the light distribution between the colas. Day 7: let the plants alone for the majority of the week, the stretch does seem to be slowing, so finishing today, with a final hard defoliation

Officially kicking off the late bloom. Finished off yesterday with a hard defoliation. pretty sure I timed that perfectly after the stretch because the buds have really thickened up just overnight.

Not much to do at this point but sit and wait. Rocking and average ppfd of like 1000 at the moment and plants haven’t shown any signs of stress, even though some of the higher cola are only like 4 inches from the 300w led panel
