i'm branching out from Humboldt and trying an Ethos strain. seed was popped in a rapid rooter and transferred directly to a 3 gallon fabric autopot. I'm hand watering until day 12 or so.
seedling was very fast to sprout and very fast in growth in first week. looks fantastic.
alright becoming a plant now. I'm in 3 gallons of 60% fox farms strawberry fields soil and 40% perlite. I fully drenched the soil when I transplanted the rapid rooter into the pot. The leaves didn't really pop open for 2 more days, but I called this day 1. Despite that, it is as far along as any plant I've grown at this stage. I did not give water again until day 7, and added 1.5 L of light nutrient mix. I turned on the autopots at day 12 in a more serious mix of grow nutes.
really healthy, fast growing plant. this is about as far along as I've seen a plant at 15 days. run baby run! I turned on the autopots at day 11, and they seemed fine with that. until next week peace ......
growth rapidly accelerated around day 15. By day 18, there were clearly visible flowers on most of the nodes already. can't remember a faster auto to do that. onward and upward!
-still have not done any training or anything...
flowers were all over both plants by day 21. switched to bloom nutrients and upped the concentration a little bit on day 22.
explosive growth!
update: first LST on day 26. pulled the two tallest branches down with some wire.
lowered the nutrient concentration a little bit, as it was burning the other plant that is sharing this autopot tank. This plant is stretching like crazy. did extensive LST on day 31 to get her down into a more even canopy. Haven't really had any need to defoliate though. There's a thin leaf cover and the leaves are quite thin.
she has some burn from excess nutrients, so i diluted down to 500 ppm on day 52. otherwise, she is extremely greasy. very impressed with the trich coverage with this much time to go.
humming along. she's sensitive though and got a little nute burn. I'll have it nailed in the next run though.
hands down, this is the frostiest auto I've run. amazing.
there are very few amber trichomes, so it still needs a week. it sure looks great though. It's extremely greasy to the touch, and rank with bright fruit flavor.
