Starting a new cultivation. This seed has been lying around since I returned to farming (that was 3 wonderful harvests ago). We'll see what grows out of it.
It came up without any problems, but I kept it in a napkin a little too long, which was not critical. The soil was not of the best quality this time. I think I’ll replace it as soon as I can
Ugh, I was so annoyed with how slow my plant was growing that I just went ahead and switched out the soil for the stuff I used to use. I totally get that I should’ve started with that soil in the first place—my bad. Anyway, what’s done is done, right?
But get this, I totally miscalculated how long the tap root was and messed it up when I moved the plant. Looks like that’s a wrap on the growth department.
I've already picked out the strain I want to try next, as the flower has come to life! It looks quite healthy now, but it is about a week behind in development. I know from the experience of others that one cannot expect a good harvest, but that is not the main thing for me. Let's keep growing!
She's a girl! And she's actively gaining weight, nearly doubled in size! If everything goes well, I expect her to bloom next week. You can already smell the characteristic sweet odor, albeit faintly 😊
She is in the pink and looks great. She has doubled in size again this week, and it seems like she won’t stop. Well, there is still room in the tent. I plan to start giving her AN’s Big Bud next week.
I’ve been neglecting my journal, so I’ll make it up to you. This week, the flower has grown a lot. The main stem stretched about 20 cm above the other branches. I decided to move away from the “don’t touch” concept and bent it in a loop. I was lucky and the stem was quite flexible and didn’t snap. After a couple of days I unbent the stem and it hardened into a suitable position.
The water supply had been cut off frequently that week, which had disrupted the watering schedule a bit. The water from the tap for watering had been left in a large bucket. I had used this bucket as a source of water for myself 😅
It survived and grew big and healthy even though I damaged the root when transplanting it in the beginning. Haven't tried it yet, will update later.
After two days of manicuring, I finally weighed what I got and couldn't believe my eyes! This is my new record, and it beats the previous one by a margin. The flowers are a little purple, beautiful.
The effect is the same as other indica-dominant hybrids. The THC levels seem to be true, it's a real kicker.
@@FraFra__frankenstoner_Two_days_in_a_day, thanks, I appreciate your comment and you are right, I have had problems with nutrient burn in previous grows. But this time I don't see any signs of nutrient overdose. The leaves look healthy, except that in places they yellowed at the end of flowering as they should. I guess these fertilizers may be less concentrated than the ones I used before.
@Beardvana, i wish you big buds with great taste! Cannabis is very tolerant against overfertilation. Every other plant would be dead with so much nutrition.
It really needs only a fraction, of what you provide! Please, in future, less is more. 😀
@@FraFra__frankenstoner_Two_days_in_a_day, I do according to the chart from the manufacturer. I'm not very knowledgeable, but I've checked other diaries and they had no problems with dosage. And I've already harvested it btw. Just filling in the missed weeks while it dries.
This plant looks very healthy! Please reduce the nutrition a bit, and give her more light! You can lower the light to 30 cm.
Even LED-Light from the side would be good. Only the leafs need the light.
Half a litre of water, per day, is enough! It does not need to be soaking wet. Overwatering is as bad as underwatering!
@@FraFra__frankenstoner_Two_days_in_a_day, thanks! Despite the lag in development, she looks good. I appreciate your feedback. I have lowered the light to 40 cm and will lower it further. She is in a relatively big pot, so I need 2-3 L per watering to moisten it well. And then I wait for the soil to dry and the pot to get light before the next watering. I'm also using the finger method 😆
