Germination went well, Seed directly in the substrate and kept humid, dark and warm. Placed in substrate on 26 Nov 2023 late in the evening. Have the lights at 65% about 120cm away from the top of the pots No nutrients for a while, possibly 2 weeks or so. Then i think i will start immediately with the bloom feed. Sucks that you only get a single seed from Simba Seeds.. Will update as she grows, Happy Growing!

Well Simba Seeds has not made a great first impression with me. Besides a lemon haze fem that never germinated a while back, this is my second seed from them and it's deformed! I have a friend that also grew a critical kush from Simba Seeds and the results were really sub-par. I was advised not to get their seeds but I was curious. I will never be buying Simba Seeds again and definitely will not recommend them to anyone. Will see how she does, but so far I'm not impressed.

It looks like the deformed growth stopped and the rest looks normal. Maybe there is some hope for Simba Seeds. She looks healthy for the most part and is growing at a noticeable pace. So far so good. No nutes, only water. After week 2 I'll add a light feed to the week

The Funny GSC is somehow the one surprising me and actually seems to be doing better than the president seeds. But we can only wait and see how it goes, but so far im pretty happy all be fair. Light nutes feed starting this week, just to get them started. going to do as little that can stress them at this point. Im not experienced with growing Autos and this is all a learning curve

Going into week 4 and she is doing really well! compared to the other auto she seems much more resistant to pests. She is growing nicely. Feeding a very low dosage feed with pH balanced water. The coco was buffered with CalMag before i started the grow, but may add CalMag soon as a fertalizer to the feed. Really happy so far with her progress, wonder why the other auto is not as resistant to pests.. funny how the one that had the tougher start becomes the one that excels

This week i will continue one last feed with the same nutrients, im not seeing any pre-flower yet so holding off on the boom bloom for now. I know these nutrients promote strong roots and healthy growth from what i've seen, which is what i want in these autos. She is doing much better than the other auto, pretty impressed at the resistance. Im doing some LST and picked off a few leaves going into this week Until i see pistils. I have raised the lights because it gets toasty and dry, the humidity drops to lower than 45%. dialed lights down to 75% and lowered height, humidity went up to the 60s.

I trained her at the end of the week for this week, however she seemed to outgrow the LST wire and snapped, but still looked like she was growing. Im just going to leave her like that and not fiddle, can basically say she topped herself lol. Why do i always get snapped branches... She is flowering much more than the other auto, but i think she still in preflower. Started the bloom boom feed this week. Going to let her do her thing and see how it goes, I think there is a decent enough canopy spread.

She is moving into flower rapidly, going to be increasing the bloom feed soon. Perhaps even this week. The snapped stem healed nicely, sucks that I couldn't train her as I wanted to. My first auto grow and it's a real learning curve, these are so much different than photos. Does not look like there will be a big yield on them. Not sure how to maximize growth, I've stayed away from causing too much stress and I'm feeding the girls as I normally do. Could be attributed to the little pests on the leaves, which I'm also noticing not very resistant to pests. The AKs I had, both indoor and outdoors, never once had issues with pests.

The GSC is further ahead than the other auto and both are 11 weeks flowering time. even though she is further, i still dont think we gonna hit that 11 week mark, i think it will be more. But only time will tell. Its peak summer and the temps during the day can reach 35c easily, in the tent it can get to around 29c. the humidity can range from 55% to 70% depending on time of day. extractor fan is doin its best to release warm air, fans are keeping any warm pockets from starting. Two autos, two strains and same-ish growth.. hard to tell if this is an auto thing or if im doing something wrong. well, time will tell.

New lights, 110w. Which is running 24/7 in a 120x120cm tent. The autos are here now for flower, i wanted space in the other tent to let the clones grow in. Seeing more flower now, and will increase the bloom nutes as well to compensate for the growth. although it still feels like its been a slow start and these clones are not at their best. I have never grown autoflowers before so I could be wrong and this is just how autos behave. If i had to choose a preferred type I think it would be photoperiods becuase they just seem like stronger over all plants. and i love that i can make them big, small, cloned and great at bouncing back from stress.
