Triploidal Jack 47 XL Auto

resimax Day 3 - December 3, 2023 Well it looks like this XL variety, already a heavy yielder, is a triploidal plant! That means that it has 3 cotyledon leaves, and an extra set of female chromosomes. It is said that yield is increased with polyploidy, so I think we'll remove her from the solo cup, and transplant her into her final, much larger pot, before she notices. Day 4 - December 4, 2023 Another day, another pot. Day 5 - December 5, 2023 No news today.

resimax Day 9 - December 9, 2023 It looks like she might have grown out of her mutation? Cotyledon and first set are 3-way, but next set and ones after seem to be two. Day 13 - December 13, 2023 So I noticed that this plant has 3 off-shoots on the bottom, and 2 on the top after it converted to being biploid. I decided to top the plant, and I will try to get 5 even colas. I left a picture of the before and after sharp utensil usage.

resimax Day 16 - December 16, 2023 Not much going on yet. New tops are doing well so far.

resimax Day 27 - December 27, 2023 It's been a while since the last update. Holidays and all. She was started to be LST'd about a week ago, but due to neglect, some branches unfastened my plant wire and stretched. I topped one of them a few days ago, as she wasn't nearly ready to flower yet. Today I defoliated a few fan leaves that were low and saggy. I looked at her, and noticed all of her leaves looked pretty saggy, and she isn't being over-watered. She is receiving enough light, but the temperatures haven't been in her favor. I also think she needs some sulfur and or calcium, as defoliating her was extremely easy, almost as if the leaves wanted to come off. But, there isn't anything wrong color-wise. I just don't really like how healthy she is looking. I will try to fix her up with some amendments tomorrow. As for the heat, it's a problem with my current veg tent, which I am in the process of replacing sometime this week. Next update she should be in a happier place.
