This is my 2nd try and I did find a female this time! Had it tested by farmer freeman to save some time.
Into a cup for a day then paper towel. Sprouted fast.
Did not document everything I had a lot going on at the time.
I'll be updating to catch up as I have just flipped this to flower less than a week ago. Late November I think the 27th...I'll double check that when I get back to them.
Really exciting to flower this out. I just want some special smoke.
She is pissy with training and does not veg fast. She might prefer a sea of green type method. I'll be running the clones with little training to see how they do once they root.

Transplanted to a 3 gallon. Getting to some real training now that it has developed more. Very healthy just not fast. Staying short and strengthening the branches which I can tell will be strong branches in the future when it's bigger.
It's needed very little from me Im happy with her health.
This week it got its own tent. So it can now spread and have some more light for itself it couldn't keep up with the Mac 1 in height.
3 gal pot. Very healthy and happy just still short and bushy and not moving super fast but it's doing so good otherwise. Very nice looking plant.
I'll double check when I am able to update but this was just flipped 11/27 I have no idea how stretch will be so I have to do this now I have height restrictions especially with this short tent.
It's opened itself up enough a trellis may not be necessary although I would like to widen it the issue is the strength of the branches. They may not be able to flex enough to trellis or they will snap. It's not flexible like most strains right now. These branches could hold a brick I think haha. That's a good thing characteristic to have though.
I'll attempt to spread it some more but if I don't like it I'll stop and just let it go with only 1 light above it as it won't need much light on the outside edges of the tent if the plant won't be there. Usually I use 2 100W LEDs per plant but I might be good here. Plenty of light where I need it.
I'll be updated 1 more time at weeks end probably which should catch me up. It will be the first week since flip so it should be interesting to see if it's moved.

It's really happy, healthy and starting to form buds. Not much stretch in her. It's just an overall short grower. It looks fantastic and hopefully that's what the end product is!
Smooth week plants very healthy. Leaves keep growing. I plucked as needed. Branches are like steel. Strong as can be. Stacking nicely. Very happy with this plant.
Very good week again. The plant looks fantastic. Iv noticed the leaf tips turning back so I backed the lights off some. My Meter said I was too high. It must have grown closer and I just didn't notice. I was at 45 dli in the center at nearly 1200ppfd. I'm down to around 875-900 the dli came down around 35 or so.
I'm beginning to notice it looking better.
Also noticed this plants been extra dark green and shiny. Possibly a little rich in nitrogen so I have backed it off this week and I'm noticing less shine to the leaves. I had been using 2ml of grow and and closer to 5ml gal of micro. I backed off to 1ml grow and 4ml micro. Seems corrected.
It really does look fantastic I love this plants leaves and structure. The strong branches are impressive. They could hold up bricks.
The clones are growing fast and handling stress unlike the mother from seed.
I'm really hoping the final product is excellent I will have a great cut in my hands. I think this will grow much faster and stronger than the from seed mother. May get more height and stretch overall. 😀
Not much to say but another smooth auto pilot week. Plants fantastic. Hope it stays that way.
Clones also doing very good. Growing faster than from seed a less effected by stress training and the temps are mild.
Auto pilot. Plant is fantastic. If the end product is as good as the plant has been then we have a keeper! Smell keep progressing it's more of a citrusy skunky slightly diesel like smell that I'm loving ! Maybe 3 or so weeks left ish ? We will see first time I have grown this strain and it was from seed so im learning as I go.
Just another really great week. Auto pilot. Buds feel rock hard. 2 more weeks roughly is a good guess at this time but we will see come then. This one's brand new to me so I'm learning her ways.
The clones are much stronger and handle stress training much better than the mom from seed did. This cloned well. So fingers crossed that the final product is a top shelf flower.
The smell im now narrowing down to a for sure citrusy diesel. It's some jet fuel!
Giving it one more late bloom feed before I start cutting the nutrients back until zero.

We are finishing up. Chopping this 2/9 if I am able. Went really well. Had a couple days spike for a few hours with mid 80s temps due to a weather swing here. A handful of buds are trying to fix tail but since I am at the very end no more changes were made. Lights were dimmed down to 750ppfd several days ago.
Plant looks fantastic and smells fantastic.
Very excited for this.
Clones in organic soil are doing great. All spread out now waiting for some height. Not ready for a transplant yet maybe in a few weeks.

Well that's a wrap 2/10 was chop day. Honestly I think it could have gone a touch further. Had a few minor fox tail spots which may have been heat related had 2 days spike on me for a few hours due to weather swing and my own mistake but that is literally it. It's been a fantastic grow. It smells like it could have some skunky diesely citrus on the smoke we will see. If so I'll be so happy!
Pretty decent trichome coverage not as crazy as my Mac 1 but that doesn't mean it won't be incredible smoke. I just wouldn't waste my time washing with this.
I'm really excited for this. Stay tuned for harvest report after it's dry trimmed and weighed. I only weigh what I keep to smoke nothing more. Smokeable harvest weight only.
I'll report on flavor and effect. Hope this is a keeper ! The clones will be going into bigger pots by the end did the week. Id like to flip them within the next 2-3 weeks if I get the height I want first. Timing is key. I don't want them too tall but I need some more height than the momma plant had. It didn't stretch much at all. The clones may react differently though. They have done better than the mother from seed as u would expect.
Exotic Gelato Mint (from seed):
1 small plant, 18-19 inches tall max. Did not fill a 2x2 I was in a rush to get a sample and still pulled off just about 3 OZ of completely usable smoke, not the larf or garbage, true jar worthy bud.
Grew short, stretched little. Demanded little.
You have to run lean on nitrogen especially in flower. She doesn't need a high feed program.
Branches are very strong. Trellis is not necessary. Bud density is middle of the road. They are still firm but the buds are larger, not small, tight and compact. I went 71 or 72 days from flip. The final product is not TOP shelf but it's def considered very good just not GREAT. I only say this because it doesn't check every single box with a high score. Looks are nice, but compared to some it's not as top shelf looking.
Taste is nice Very lemony smelling and tasting + herbal, that is it. No dankness or skunk. I believe it has alot left on the table. First run, learning curve. Smelled amazing in flower.
Effects are nice. It's an all day smoke with an old school stoney feel to it that's not real heavy for long but rather nice. Smoking a J is perfect the way this bud grinds up.
It's also maintained some stickiness.
I had few issues on a first run and 2nd run clones are growing so much faster and yes they can grow taller with time but they will bush out nicely with topping more so than growing north at first. At peak of veg where I have maxed out space. They are now getting to the height I need before flip. With the expectation that it won't stretch much however the clones are doing much better. I'm also running in organic amended soil of my own blend. It's going better than I could expect for my first organic run. These clones love it.
7/10 because it truly is enjoyable to smoke on with a flavor that's there but mellow and won't alert every person in the area. Happy with the first pheno found and I will run more but first to master this cut. It could be much better next round with more care and understanding. Each strain reacts differently to your watering, feeding and environment so that is always considered and adjustments are necessary to confirm quality.

I got stuck running this Rude Boi OG for over a year, ticked a lot of the boxes, but I had a lot of seeds to try out still. Glad I moved on because since then I’ve produced some truly top shelf material and have found some decent mother plants to continue running
