First Grow - Purple Lemonade

mandyneugrower All three girls are growing slowly but surely. I am watering them every other day, or daily depending on the moisture level and weight of the pots.

mandyneugrower All 3 girls are doing great and have exploded in growth in the last week. I began LST on January 5, and all 3 have begun growing upwards again as of this morning 1/6.

mandyneugrower I’ve been continuing to water the plants every other day or when they feel dry. Despite a major f up by me, not having the timer set on the light, so the plants have been getting 24 hour light so far, the plants seem to be growing well. The plants seem to be responding well to LST, and I will allow it to adjust to a night cycle for a while before switching it to flower.

mandyneugrower 2 plants are doing better than the other, but the runt plant continues to grow. plants were shifted into 12-12 light on jan 19 - day 35.

mandyneugrower i didn’t take many photos this week, but all 3 girls are growing strong. I accidentally topped the smallest plant while doing LST.

mandyneugrower The girls are shooting up in height to flower. The main stems are becoming thicker and more sturdy, and I will no longer train them. I have pruned some leaves as needed; if they were covering a flower bud.

mandyneugrower in future grows i will begin to defoliate at this stage. i will also feed them with flower boosting nutrients.

mandyneugrower i should have been more hands on with the plant in this stage. slowly cutting back side shoots, etc.

mandyneugrower at this point i realized that i should have been pruning much earlier on. i did a big trim this week. too big of a trim. i won’t prune so drastically on future grows.

mandyneugrower i realized that i needed to boost the flower production so i bought power bloom and added it to my nutrient schedule. the plants stretched too much early on and have lots of small buds. the plants were harvested at the end of week 10 and were dried for 1 week before jarring.
