Prof_Weed First Hydroponic Grow

Prof_Weed hello growfreax! here is my very first hydroponic run with the purple lemonade FF from fastbuds, they have perfect seeds in my opinion. the FF stands for fast flowering, with this amazing strain a minimal flowering time of just 7 weeks is possible, with absolutely top results. also, the support at fastbuds is always quick, friendly, and competent, what more could you want? planted in rockwool on 22.11. after 4 days she soaked up some sun for the first time.. after some initial startup issues, the fastbuds lady is now really taking off. the genetics and the environment match each other very well. I have "only" 1 sanlight lamp in with 190w, should be enough for 1 plant. 400 PPFD at 18 hours of light.

Prof_Weed I'm a beginner, I topped for the first time 3 days ago. I was scared but I went for it. The leaves drooped for half an hour, then the plant perked back up. EC value has increased a bit, now at 1.48. Root booster has been left out now, the first roots have grown out of the Terra Aquatica Cultimate S pot. The roots are now in the water, I estimate about 12 cm in length. PPFD has also been increased to 500, now at 32.58 DLI. Since there's a CO2 bag hanging in there, it should be fine. Let's see what happens this week!

Prof_Weed Week 3, hope she grows up soon.. A bushy lady that I need to defoliate again next week. Everything is good so far, it's my first photoperiod plant and my first hydroponics grow..

Prof_Weed Week 5 and the stretch upwards finally begins. The plant is now 50 cm wide and due to the topping / scrogging and the square Terra Aquatica pot, the plant is also growing squarely into the scrog net. Height 25 cm, I’ll give it another 4 weeks of vegetative time and then switch to 12/12. It has gained almost 10 cm in height in 1 week and drinks 2 liters in 3 days. In a month it could be 45 cm tall and 60 cm wide. And in the end possibly 70 cm tall and 80 cm wide. My goal is 90g yield..

Prof_Weed Today marks the start of the 5th week of vegetation. The plant is growing like a weed and exploding. And I have to say DWC is worlds better than soil.. RLF has been slightly reduced and EC raised to 1.8. You can remove the leaves every 5 days; if this keeps up, one plant will completely fill the 1x1 tent.. I installed a Brita water filter at the tap; making osmotic water is too stressful for me.

Prof_Weed Week 6 and everything is going according to plan. The stem is 5 cm thick and the plant is 70 cm wide at 37 cm height. I’ll let it grow until March 15 and then switch to 12/12, it should be about 50 cm tall by then, it’s going to be a real bush in the end. The water level in the pot decreases by about 4 liters every 2 days and the plant is soaking up the nutrients, EC value drops every 2 days. You can also defoliate twice a week, this stuff grows like weeds. I add Hesi SuperVit and BioBizz CalMag once a week to the Terra Aquatica fertilizer. Also, during the weekly cleaning, I add Oxyplus. The goal is about 150g yield from 1 plant.

Prof_Weed 7. Vegetation Week Now 75 cm wide, 44 cm tall. By March 15th, I hope for 60 cm and will then switch to 12/12. Hydroponics is killer..

Prof_Weed I've now replaced the BioBizz Calmag with the one from Terra Aquatica, as it's better suited for hydroponics. Humidity is now at 60%, I had the lights hung higher last week. Here and there I've removed a few dead leaves and micro buds. It was a good idea to go with the hydroponic grow, the plant is growing noticeably better and healthier.

Prof_Weed 9. Week of vegetation, now 50 cm tall and 85 cm wide. By March 15th, I hope for 60 cm in height and then I will switch to 12/12. I've already had to defoliate for the 5th time, it's growing like a weed. I've been using WaterTrim, reverse osmosis water for 3 days now.

Prof_Weed Week 11, I removed the lower leaves and mini buds and left only the upper ones. Due to the large light distance, the plant is stretching perfectly upwards. Height 60 cm, it has gained a solid 10 cm this week!!

Prof_Weed Today marks the start of week 12, tomorrow I'm off to Thailand for 2.5 weeks.. After that, the light will be switched to 12/12. I had to remove an extreme amount of leaves, already the 2nd time this week.. The 1m x 1m tent is now full with 1 plant!! It's now 67 cm tall and 1 m wide, boom.. The light has been raised to a distance of 77 cm, the Purple Lemonade from Fast Buds shouldn't get any burns. I think it's going to be a jungle when I'm back home. The stem has a diameter of 8 cm, fat genetics. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Peace!

Prof_Weed Today marks the start of week 13. I'm currently on vacation in Thailand, but Madame Purple Lemonade from Fast Buds is just super potent, a great strain. The goal is around 150 grams yield.

Prof_Weed Also, Madame Purple Lemonade from Fast Buds has survived the 2.5-week Thailand vacation well. Drinks 5 liters a day... The 1x1 meter tent is too small, I will have to get a bigger one. I will now have to switch to 12/12. The genetics of this plant are top-notch, but whether I'll do another SCROG is questionable, it grows like a weed...

Prof_Weed Hey ho, it's now exactly 1 meter tall and over 1 meter wide. I switched to 12/12 yesterday and will leave them in the tent for another month. It looks like I'll have to move to a greenhouse which I will heat. This gigantic Purple Lemonade from Fast Buds has gotten too big for indoor...

Prof_Weed It's now 105 cm tall and 110 wide. I'll let it grow in the tent for another month, then it has to move to a greenhouse. I estimate it will be about 1.8 meters tall. Around 150 to 200 g should be possible, hopefully it will turn purple at the end..

Prof_Weed Okay, week 19 starts, the Purple Lemonade from Fast Buds is killer! I've switched to 12 hours now and lowered the humidity to 50. This has raised the temperature by 2 degrees. Also, I'm now giving more Dual Part Bloom and on top Pro Bloom. I'm super satisfied with the Terra Aquatica products. The plant was also massively defoliated yesterday. I'll have to continue this without a tent since it's too big..

Prof_Weed Okay, 5 days ago I initiated flowering, it's 137 cm tall and 140 cm wide.. It's going to be a decent hydroponic plant, the Purple Lemonade from Fast Buds!!

Prof_Weed Welcome to the Jungle! Purple Lemonade by Fast Today finally marks the start of the 1st flowering week. 100 mini buds have appeared, and I'm going to wait for 2 weeks before removing a few large leaves. It has stretched almost 15 cm in just 1 week. I'm keeping the EC value at 2.2 and the pH value at 6.0-6.2. I need to raise the lights tomorrow since the plant is now 150 cm tall. Let's see how the buds develop; hopefully not 137 mini flowers.. Since the plant is not in a tent and the humidity is at 50%, I don't expect any mold. And let's see how purple it gets..

Prof_Weed Heater started week 21, and thus the 2nd pre-flowering week. The Purple Lemonade from Fast Buds drinks 10 liters in 2 days, I'm also giving Pro Bloom additives from Terra Aquatica as a foliar spray in the evenings. Hopefully, it doesn't grow any taller, it's getting tight with the ceiling. Peace

Prof_Weed Grrr, die Buds werden immer schwerer und dadurch knicken sich die Äste nach unten und zur Seite. Ph Wert fällt immer auf 5.3 nach 1 Tag und der Rc Wert ist auf 3.7 hoch.. Wird spannend..

Prof_Weed Okay, it's the 4th flowering week for the Purple Lemonade from Fast Buds. The buds are growing, sticking, and already smelling. Many branches are breaking because the buds are too heavy; next time I'll just top and bend the branches down. Scrogging is rather counterproductive with the hydroponic pot since you constantly have to empty the water and keep the pot clean. These are all experiences you have to gather as a beginner; it's my first hydroponic grow. I'll send the plant into flowering next time when it's 50/60 cm tall.

Prof_Weed The Purple Lemonade from Fast Buds will be fine.. It's growing a bit misshapen because the buds are too heavy, it looks like a bush in nature. I have to adjust the pH and EC values daily, the 1.7-meter plant is too big for the pot. Hopefully, it will turn purple soon, there's still no sign of purple.. The buds are getting fatter and already smell..

Prof_Weed From tomorrow, I'm giving Final Part from Terra Aquatica and then just water for 1 to 2 weeks, flushing. I've set the UV light to 30 minutes every hour, the light shines a total of 4 times. What bothers me is that the Purple Lemonade FF isn't turning purple and the plant is growing misshapen, the buds are hanging down.. Otherwise, the lady drinks 8 liters a day, a bit too big. Peace
