This is my third attempt at a grow , i have previously used coco coir and a rubbish 125 cfl. This time i got a 600w led and growing in soil, there is hell of a difference already, can smell the plant as well at this early stage. gunna start feeding with coca A and B soon

Should be fine, CANNA uses a good nutrient blend. Be sure to monitor the concentration using a EC pen and to get a good amount of runoff each time or the salts will buildup in the medium and cause issues down the road. Any hydro nutrient can be used in soil, but not any soil nutrient can be used in hydro . https://www.canna.ca/products They do have Tera products for soil and Coco products for coir, confirm what one you have and reference a feed chat then dilute down to the desired EC. Good Luck!

Hello my friend, Contrary to soil, coco coil does not already contain nutrients. That is why growers need to supplement everything themselves. This makes coco nutrients particularly powerful, and if you use them on soil that already contains nutrients, you run the risk of overfeeding your plants.

Coco nutes are designed for coco. They will have different levels of NPK Ca Mg to the soil nutes, I'd use soil nutes for soil and coco nutes for coco. You may find the plants don't like coco nutes in soil.

i've used "hydro" nutes in soil with no problems. just make sure to compliment what the soil has... as that depletes you'll need some sort of ramp up schedule and start low in concnetration to start. I did this for about a year re-using some FFOF. Obviously by the 2nd use it was mostly devoid of nutes beside what i provided, which was more like a 'soilless' schedule and fertigation practices (10% runoff religiously) Take some notes. Observe and adjust. Do better next time. if you want to use soilless/hydro nutes, just buy a soilless medium next time. Keep it simple. "coco" nutes means "soiless/hydro" nutes. It's a useless classification to call it "coco nutes". There's nothing special about coco coir than any other common sense soilless substrate option. the fluffier, airy stuff tends to outperform things that will physically impede roots, like large clay balls or huge chunky perlite (like #4 and larger.. #2 is best if i recall). if processed properly it neither adds nor leaches anything from your nutes. If it does, that is a bad manufacturer and you should avoid that source in future. unrefined coco is very danagerous for your plants. It'll contain a shitload of Na and often leach Calcium from your feed which will displace other cations like Na and K etc. If processed properly, this stuff will be lost and gained in equal amounts (equilibrium) and will not leach any nutes, nor contain any Na. An 'inert' medium is the result. anyway, soilless/hydro nutes are the way to go if you want faster growth, but if you do keep it simple next time and just get a soilless substrate.

growdiaries.com/grow-questions/63740-should-i-use-canna-a-and-b-in-soil You already asked this question. and I am going to say NO, you do not need other food. The elements in coir feeds tend to be more well rounded as coir in of itsself is mostly void of nutrients so they ensure it has all it needs. Soil is not normally void of nutrients but adding in the small amounts of micros is not going to harm it, ensure you are getting runoff when you feed and it will prevent and salts from accumulating in the soil that could cause to potential lock out. If your soil has some slow release fertilizers in it, then don't feed with CANNA till its been depleted, that's normally aorund 3 weeks after it started growing in it. Transplants are like fertilizing when the soil is fortified. Look at the label on the bag of soil your using as well. somethings are advertised as soil and really they are soil less and just a mix of peat moss perlite and a slow release pellet. In shorts its fine, just get a EC pen and get runoff when feeding. Good Luck!

You should be able to get another weeks worth of Veg. Look at my last few grows as I use the same tent but the shorty version, it will give you an idea of how much more space is going to be taken up by the plant once its flowering.

I believe you have roughly 3 weeks left. 8 weeks of flowering is usually more than sufficient but your plant looks like she could add an extra week to that. give her 2 more weeks with fertilizer and then a week for flushing.

maybe 1-2 weeks. No need to flush, just give only water without runoff. Trichomes, pistils and growth habits will help you find out if its ready. mostly cloudy and some amber trichomes is a good sign, and most pistils are died back. as well as some fade on the fan leaves. Good Luck!

Looking at your diary it appears you can harvest at any time but if you’re wanting the rest of the newer pistols to turn then you could easily go a few more days. I base my harvest time on the Trichomes. I harvest when about 80% are amber in color. I use a small handheld microscope to check them. If you wait a week I don’t think you will notice a drastic difference at all so really the choice is up to you my friend. Hope this helps.
