This was my first grow using the Phantom System. A collection of the right parts and pieces from the right makers and manufactures to get the best quality for the best price. Budget was a major factor and so was space. I previously created a system from scratch out of tubs hardware store visits and rigged wiring to make something functional but let's just say it wasnt up to code. If I was going to venture down this road again I decided to open the wallet a little more and elevate the quality of the product by purchasing them third party already made.
Mars Hydro 300
Ohio Hydroponics Bubbleponic System
Air Pump and Stone
Hydro flow Rain Ring
(At this time) 150CFM inline fan with control
10" desk fan
Phantom Automatic Tent
I always have trouble with the little ones. I tend to overwater. Thankfully the plant is very resilient and tells me whats up so that i may correct myself. This was the next day of the previous week 1 photos.
As you can see the plant got a little yellow from the overwatering. As long as you have good drainage and airflow and cut back on the feedings you should be good. I was doing twice a day so I brought it down to one for 5 min.
*Editors Note: At this time I was running 150 CFM inline fan and my tent would puff up. Like a dummy I didnt realize this was a bad thing. I had high temperatures even though air being pumped in from the top and some air was being sucked out by the fan cause I could feel it I just didnt know it was enough until I got a 200 CFM and saw the difference. My recommendation is nothing under 200cfm. Spend the money. dont bother with those 150cfm inline fans you see on ebay. Get the 200 ones and above.
