Just chopped the top half and left the rest to continue on. These bufs are good enough and I need something to smoke. I will update this review later.
Trimming notes; very resinous. Finger trimming without tools. Sticky. Strong chaparral odor.. Like hiking in the California foothills after a rain. Flowery smell mixed with other stuff. A bit like lichen, outdoorsy with a trace of sulphurous low notes along with stronger green spicy high notes Like a Mexican skunk in the Sonora Desert during monsoon season. A wet green stink weed.
The Flower Fuel that I use provides a lot of sulphur. Cannabis that gets a lot of sulphur often smells skunky at harvesting.

Day 2 drying update:
From what I can ascertain so far, from these two sub - mature branches which yelled about 3 whole grams is a hybrid strain and very skunk like. It has a sativa growth and and morphology but the buds, although well spaced inter-nodally, as is common with sativa's, has dense round buds with closely spaced bracht's that resemble an Afghan. Most of my sativa's have longer, more narrow, continuous buds that are slow to finish and are airy or "larfy"..This Turkish is like a Mexican stinkweed. A skunky, green, sticky hash plant.
Like I said it's not even dry yet. I didn't let the fact that it was not fully ripe for harvest prevent me from chopping that too off so why should a guy like me wait for the drying process to complete itself before smoking it? Patience takes too long.
So that's what I did, five minutes ago.
The taste is minty and bitter. Even though it was green the smoke was not harsh at all. Obviously I had to hold the lighter over the bowel for a long time to do that bowel. The result was like a little like burning oil. The buds are very oily so it was a long burn time. The hot, gassey fumes were hot but not harsh or hurtful. The exhale had a bitter minty, oily feel. The cannabinoids could be felt at this moment.
The buzz is about as intense as you want to make it. Right now I'm feeling it. So there is strong THC with mild psychedelic effects, no nervousness or paranoia but that's just me, some people would regard this as hard hitting and others like me are experiencing it in a controllable manner and are just sailing along and writing reviews

One week later. Great stuff. Just chopped the rest of the plant today. Looks like the total bud weight for this one plant is about ten grams
