This is my first grow. The Squirt are feminized photos, 2 from the same pack and one that was a freebie. The GFSD is a bag seed from a medical purchase.
Up-potted into 2 quart pots at beginning of week.
Topped Squirt 1 and 2 just above the first 5 finger leaf node the last day of the week.
keeping water ph around 6.5-6.8 when watering every 2-3 days
Applied some LST on all 4 plants the day after topping Squirt #1 and 2.
Mid week topped GFSD and Squirt #3.
About to up-pot and prep for flipping to flower after week 4.
Tried to transplant into 5 gallon cloth bags on Day 30 but ended up only having enough soil to fill the bags half way. Had to wait until the next day to get them in their pots. Using Fox Farm Strawberry Fields for the final soil.
Day 31 I got them in their final homes and dressed the top of the soil with 1 TBSP Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4.
Watered until fully saturated. ~.75 gal each.
Day 35 watered ~.5 gal each. Left excess water in the drip pans to slowly soak into the plants over the next couple days to not water as often. PHed my water between 6.3-6.9 when watering.
Day 36 is last day of Veg. Setting lights to flower schedule of 12/12.
Flipped light cycle to flower. keeping them watered. Not needing to use nutrients yet as I transplanted into Fox Farm Strawberry Fields the week before the flip. That new soil should provide the right balance of nutrients for the flower cycle. Once pistils start to show I plan on scrogging.
Started getting some yellow leaf tips that I suspect is from light burn or ph drift in the soil. I was using distilled vinegar for my ph down and have since switched to fox farms citric acid based ph down. Defoliated on day 20 of flower and set up the trellis net to support the stalks.
Raised the height of the front two plants by 6 inches to bring the canopy all in line together. Trimmed up the lower bud sites and unneeded fan leaves. Starting to get trichome production on all three plants.
