Let up all but a couple ties on each plant, definitely the mains are let off. Just kept a couple for airflow that will be unpinned eventually. Topped and supercropped a few taller branches to make the canopy even.
Finished taking out the larf at the bottom, adjusted the lights brighter. Topdressed them with Build-A-Flower. Fed them their first non-casting fertilizer, Build-Bloom @ 1 tsp.

Congrats! What a great relief it is to be granted the municipal rights to grow personal use cannabis.
Your plants are lookin' good so far. Don't mess 'em up!! 😋 J/K, of course. Enjoy every moment. 👍✊
So, it turns out you DO need to pH with recharge, I have small spots. theyre still showing 7 fingers and growing rapidly, just gotta adjust from now on. since im aerating it, thinking i will ph down to 5.6, then mix the recharge in and and let it rise up into the soil range over that period
Yup. I started to clone mine and got to thinking... it's pointless with our limits.
Plus I'm getting geared up to help my wife grow her 6 outdoors and give the utilities a break. So my focus is to grow all my classic favorites, grow them into jungles and harvest as much as possible.
Then there's really no need to mother if done right.
A little luck and a lotta love when growing photos on a personal level can go a long way.
Sending good vibes your way and wish you all the best!
Hope your all better now bro...
When it comes to haze strains in organic grows (Specifically Silver and Super Lemon), I find they like lots of O2 in rooting zone, a good 20%+ perlite in the mix seems to do more than trying to hone in on nutrients.
I only mention this because I only use FFOF as a starting base in all my grows, a bag isn't bad for what it delivers.
Though, I'm not sure if this holds true for blue dream, as I never have grown it.
All I really strive to do is keep it as simple as possible. I don't even PH unless I have to tackle a nute deficiency or give a booster by using or blending a tea. Filtered rain water is free and perfect for any plant.
4 parts FFOF & 1 Part Perlite until they graduate to a 1 Gal pot. Then I use 4 parts FFOF, 1 part Wiggle Worm brand specific (They feed their worms with premium nutrients), 1 part perlite, Mycos for roots/rootzone, and top dress with Bat Guano.
For 3 gal pot graduation, same as 1 gal but boosted with blood and bone meal.
5 gal pots same as 1 gal and ammend with only bone meal and void out the blood meal as we want to minimize excess nitrogen and boost proteins.
I keep in mind that these are slow releasing nutes, so I top water at least 2-3 times a week, while keeping my basins full, providing a slow flush throughout the flowering period. Once I see about 50% of my trichs clouded over I switch to top watering only and let the basins run dry.
This process has consistently produced strong healthy roots, strong cellular walls, busty buds and heavy terp profiles.
Money was tight in my youth, hence me ever growing in the first place.
Then I started comparing end product to my peers... they were dumping all kinds of different high end nutes in their grows to achieve high yeilds.
While some mastered the high yeild grows, I always thought the overall taste and high from my grows was better through and through and my yeilds always carried me through.
So I let plants veg at their pace... simple fact that FFOF can support up to 12 weeks of veg growth without suppliments is great on the wallet.
Sometimes it feels like it can take forever... but I don't like to rush natural processes - whether this is all psychological, emotional or what have you, This is one thing that will remain foundational in all my grows.
Having said this, I'm an old dog that's willing to learn new tricks... so now that we're legal, I've stepped way out my comfort zone with a Trifecta of ammendments with my Watermelon Zkittlez grow.
I hope I don't regret it. The soil composition is totally different than what I'm used to and it don't feel right. Still using FFOF as a base but man it's heavy....
So here's to experimenting, can't have success without risk of failure!
