This is recovering nicely. Need to get it out soon to finish before days get longer but we have storms predicted all next week, Plan is to keep it inside one more week than put out.
I had removed most of the damaged growth, am on the fence on topping wanted to see how it reacted to the clean up first. If i top I want to do it with enough time to recover before I put out.

@McGrowin, It is used in place of a mulch. Controls moisture and helps break down the top dressed nutrients. Also keeps direct light off the soil..
