Peyote Critical from Barney’s Farm.
This plant was completely experimental in the way of training and temperature fluctuations. With an AC unit fed and dampered into the grow tent itself, night time temps would drop causing this to trigger anthocyanin formations to become dominant, thus causing this plant to turn very dark. Using these temp fluctuations also caused uncertainty in the uptake of salts in the root system causing lock out especially during temps dropping below 60 Fahrenheit but was able to resume normal function during the light hours, if the VPD was at the equivalent. This also led to recessed growth due to the night time cold lock out. In other words, turning your plant purple with cold temps can cause issues, but there are many other strains that can handle it. Cheers!
