Anesia Seeds - Frozen Black Cherry Auto (First Auto Grow, Stealth/Wardrobe)
Soaked seed for 10hrs before sowing directly into a mix of coots ("Living Soil" - DrGreenThumbs Australia) and coco coir, with more coir than coots towards the top.
I've grown photoperiod plants for years with great success, however I've now moved to somewhere where space is limited so my hope is to maximise productivity within as minimal space as possible.
Seed sprouted in 2 days, though the seed casing got stuck on the top and the sprout got a wee bit leggy. I gently removed it by early day 4, as it was apparent it wasn't moving itself, revealing little yellow rolled up leaves.
By day 6 she had fully opened up, greened out, and had her second leaves starting to sprout.
I'm hoping this wont affect her overall growth down the line as I've heard early stress when sprouting autos can. That being said, I'm trying not to take this grow too seriously as it is my first step back in after a few years away, and my first auto grow in general, trial and error are to be expected.
Regardless, I propped her up a bit with more soil around the base and fed her a diluted root roids (dr green thumbs) solution to help with root development and boost vegging growth.
Overall she's doing alright, excited to see her put on new vegetative growth over the next couple of weeks.
Thank you all so much! Still have a few things to do but it has turned out much better than previous attempts, I'm very happy with it so far, this will be my first grow in it so I suppose only time will tell if it works for weed... If not it's gonna be a cactus cabinet hahah :)
Today I started building a diy carbon filter, just waiting on a few pieces but I will show it off in a later update! Cheers again
