Project] 😍😍 ===================== The Idea was to build a micro grow space that requires minimum maintenance and still have controllable environment and reasonable project cost. Note: Average Temperature where I Live is 28-32 °C. ===================== Interior: ===================== Reflective Film - Glued on the surface - 360. 1x 400W Metal Halid Lamp - About 130cm from soil surface - Top Center. 18hrs schedule. 2x Neon 40W (Fluorescent) Lamps - Middle sideways. 18hrs schedule. 2x Main 20cm outlet fans + Dual interior chimney - Top sideways. 20hrs schedule. 4x Small air-circulation fans - Middle Cross-sectioned. 24hrs schedule. 2x medium inlet fans + 2x active carbon dust/smell filters - Bottom Front. 24hrs schedule. 1x 50Liters Wooden Bucket. + 1x Soil Multi-Meter (Temperature/P.H./Light) - Centered. ===================== Soil & Irrigation: ===================== 14L Team Agronomist Organic soil mix 1/3 Brick of Coco-Coir free of bacterial and fungal spores, low in natural salts + 20L of Water (5.5P.H. + 50gm 19-19-19NPK) - Rinse for 1h then drained and mixed with organic soil mix (which contains perlite). Self Irrigation: gravity based system of 2x small clay water containers buried in the soil with attached tubes to a 20L reservoir placed on top of the set-up. ===================== Chassis & Exterior: ===================== Chassis: Modified Metal Rack. Walls: MDF - Compressed Carton Doors: Wooden Chassis - Covered in MDF Attached to one Door: 1x Temperature/Hygrometer/Clock with additional wired sensor attached to the middle of the grow space interior. ===================== On Top of the Racks (Exterior): ===================== 1x 20L Water Reservoir (20L Mineral Water + 20gm 19-19-19NPK). Igniter + Ballast for the Metal Halid Lamp 1x Programmable 3-slots electric power surge (control unit). Wires, Switches, Surges, Fuses, ...etc, ===================== Program for 3in1 Control Unit: ===================== Chanel (plug) 1: dedicated to circulation and inlet fans - always on. Chanel (plug) 2: dedicated to main halid lamp and both fluorescent lamps - 18h on / 6h off schedule for all week days. Chanel (plug) 3: dedicated to both outlets only, 20h on / 4h off schedule for all week days so that it turns on/off 1 hour before the lights to guarantee that the grow space does not get hot. ===================== Set-up Cost - Excluding Seeds was around: $600; and a lot of effort and dedication (about 250 hours).

It Actually took it 8 days from placing the seeds until sprout. However, only one of the two seeds sprouted. I tried to dig out the dead seed but obviously failed! so i Just ended up moving the baby sprout to the middle of the pot by day 5 and decided to go only with one plant for now..

Watching my baby grow.. Nothing special.. no challenges yet.. going smooth and fully automated so far.. Consumed about 10 Liters (50%) of the water reservoir in 2 weeks, which means as of the current phase the reservoir could last for a month which is great..

Watching my baby grow all symmetrical with somehow a fast pace.. Noticed that the top leaves are becoming really big that their shadow is covering the baby bottom leaves of the stem, so I just came up with this idea of adding two additional 15W lamps hanging really low that the bottom section is now lit AF.. pro here is that the 15W barely generate any heat! cons its just 30W compared to the main HID 400W lamp!! Lets just see how that would turn out to be! Still using 1.5gm/liter of 19/19/19 NPK powder because I was too lazy to change the reservoir water (AGAIN) specially that over 20% of the 20 Liters still remains even after over a month now since I have got the auto irrigation system running in the soil (about 10 days testing before first sprout).

Now this darling is growing kinda really fast.. I also noticed that the water consumption rate has increased in a way I can't miss.. So I decided to add this "mini" SCROG (these tiny four strings - which I can easily remove/modify height) starting day 43 (30.Nov.2018), just to ensure maximum spreading sideways and maximize the light entering to the heart of the plant near the stem, ...etc for the upcoming week or so.. still using 2.0gm/liter of 19/19/19 NPK powder since day 38 (25.Nov.2018).

Growing all nice, fast and clean.. I can't wait to see it getting bigger by the hour! still using 2.0gm/liter of 19/19/19 NPK powder since day 38 (25.Nov.2018).
