This plant was so fun to grow. I didnt know what I was doing when starting and didnt which breeder to go with, hell I didnt know to look for breeders, I just wanted to look for some strains I liked growing up. I ordered these beans from attitidue seed bank and they turned out ok. This plant grew up healthy the whole time then shocked me in flower when it got fat and started filling out. This plant smells like left out in the sun ,pissed on cheese lol, for real I know it sounds gross but its funky as hell, or was....

First grow in the books but man I have ALOT of learning to do. Ya know they always say growing is half of it, drying is curing is the half and that is so true This grow diary is kinda weird as I have 3 dif plants so I will do 3 dif pages but Im going to summarize here Being a new grower is exciting!! Everything is new. New brings challenges that I urge for in everything I do. I picked these 3 strains just because they had nostalgia for me. I didnt research the breeders, didnt pay attention to flower time or any notes really from the breeder. I only knew the flower time that came with the beans. This grow was so fun, I built my own soil and wrote everything down everyday, temp of water, ph of water, how much water, when I top dressed and what my par and vdi was everyday. I worked hard and this was like therapy for me to get to harvest. Chop day was both exciting and abit weird at the same time. These plants that Ive invested so much time in with. I spoke to these plants each morning lol. So I chopped them down and realized I wont be able to keep them whole, I chopped them down by larger branches and hung. They hung in the same tent but I was able to get temps to 60-65 F, and RH was 55-65% at all times. I had my exhaust running 24/7 on low and a oscillating fan at the bottom of the tent just blowing air at the walls I was trying to go by the Snap test. I tested every other day and would test branches the size of toothpicks. I was at day 11 and still no snap so I was like what gives?? I took a whole branch down and trimmed to get an idea of how the buds felt. They were abit crunchy on the outside and still alittle spungy when squeezed so I thought ok theses are done. I then grabbed all of them and trimmed and bagged up in oz bags, Grove bags. I let sit for 48hrs and tyen peeked at them......To my surprise they were all under 55% most were at 50%. My NL smelled like cut grass, My GDP smelled like cut grass with gas on it BUT my Sour Diesel was an absolute gem SD smelled like orange peels backed with famous sour diesel smell to it I was excited. BUT WTF happened to my NL and GDP. They are huge buds and are covered in frost and sticky as hell but fuck they smell like grass, im so pissed. I feel I over dryed them and killed all terps and it pisses me off. I will never trust the snap method again. I tried several branches all were just bending no snap. Im really hoping that curing these buds will help get rid of that grass smell if not I will be converting these beautiful buds into cannabutter. All in all my goal was to just get to harvest and i achieved that, little did I know the hard part is drying and curing. Heres to the next grow! I will be satrting another diary soon, my current plants have been not so good but I will get another one up soon. Thanks to all who watched me grow, followed me and commented I appreciate it!

Grow Questions

Since I just transplanted and amended my soil using gaia green amendments and geared them towards veg. I know the general rule is to allow 2 weeks for them organic amendments to break down, will that deter me from flipping to flower next week or should I wait if so how long?

you can still flip at 2 weeks. also it good to keep giving them veg nutrients until the stretch has stopped. I mix Gaia Green 444 and 284 in varying ratios to hit the mark I want. I also mix in worm castings too with some seaweed for extra K and micros. The plants consumption of N does not change that much from veg to bloom. I still give them more N then just the 2% in 284 worm castings help with that. They have some Insect Frass that works pretty good too. Good Luck!

Are they autos? They may have an over abundance of nitrogen (the leaves are very dark green) this can stunt them.. although they look tied down.. never worry, they look great and will flower nicely

@@OrganicLivingSoil, Appreciate you stopping by and thanks for the input. These are photoperiod and yea I got the top branches tied down to try and maintain an even canopy. I am going to remove the ties next week and likely see more height hopefully.
