Started in Glass of water then after 24hrs moved it to Damp Paper Towels that kept going dry numerous times. But still managed to break its shell on 17 Dec 2023. Placed in 5-Gal pot, Miracle Gro Potting Mix (don't hate), with 1/4" tail, domed for humidity, and darkness. poured 1/2 Gal of water in the medium mostly on the exterior of the Pot and sprayed the planting site directly with water. On 23 Dec 2023, she sprouted through the soil and was brown. I still didn't introduce light yet, so I figured that was the problem. Gave her 150PPFD full spectrum and she bounced back within 12hrs but caused stretching from weak lights. I was learning as I go. I was beating this poor plant from the get-go with stress as I was dialing in my tent build environment. Temperatures got up to 100F. Humidity levels 95% at times. CO2 was ambient basement of 500-700ppm. 24 Dec 2023, she made a full recovery and was green and healthy but stretching. Still Domed and growing and on 28 Dec 2023 moved light 6" away bumping up to 800PPFD to stop the stretch, poor thing (still learning). 30 Dec 2023 another 1/2-Gal exterior and sprayed her with Wollastonite (Silcon/Calcium mineral). 31 Dec 2023 showed signs of overwatering obviously, so I pulled back Lights to 400PPFD. She also started to show signs of mildew from being domed this whole time and over watered. Had signs of light burn from being sprayed during light hours creating a magnifying effect. Took the Dome off and gave her a bath in 60% water/40% milk. Which got rid of the mildew. Cut off Light burned leaves. I Finally got my environment dialed in at 73F/53% humidity. The Picture was taken 2 Jan 2024 and the white is Wollastonite residue. Basicly 2 weeks from dropping the seed in water.
