teddy0707 Repotted into 5-liter pots two days ago. Currently, no nutrients have been added yet. I'm not sure if it might end up being too much of a good thing since the seedling soil already has minerals for 2 weeks. I would appreciate any tips. 2 x 400 grow lights are in use and a fan to generate wind.

teddy0707 After I gave 30ml of Canna Tera per liter to 3 of the plants, I flushed them and hoped for the best. But in the end, everything turned out fine. Now they are about 8 cm tall and growing nicely. Now I need to figure out when I should start trimming leaves and when I need to transfer them to the 6-liter pots. But it'll be fine :-)

teddy0707 I'm feeding the girls every week with 2ml per liter. It seems to be going well. The leaves are green and strong. Every now and then I see a leaf that's a bit wavy. But I assume it's because the light was too close. The girls are just growing too fast ;-) When repotting from 2.4 L to 6 L, I got to see how dense the roots had grown. Very good, looking at the guides, I think I'm on the right track. Now I just need to find the right time to switch to flowering. I'm excited :-) A fan provides constant air. Soon I'll be installing an exhaust system. I haven't gotten around to it yet. But it seems to be working fine for now. The smell is already quite strong. After repotting, the smell has decreased a bit. In the next few days, an exhaust will definitely be necessary :-)

teddy0707 Switched to flowering lights three days ago. The ladies are reacting quite differently to the grow light. Today I fertilized again. I also added flowering nutrients.

Grow Questions

teddy0707started grow question 2y ago
The leaves of the automatics have brown spots. I'm afraid I gave too much water. The soil was always moist every day. So never really dry. Or does it have another cause? Another problem I have is that I'm not sure if a lady is a hermaphrodite? What can you recommend?

@teddy0707 hi mate the leaves are showing signs your plant needs calcium overwatering may have flushed away valuable nutrients or maybe your not feeding them enough? As for the hermie question can you possible get a close up of one of the buds and connecting stem as Its too hard to ascertain from that photo Feel free to ask me any question mate 👍

teddy0707 Since the ladies showed signs of Cal/Mag and iron deficiency, I sprayed iron on the leaves and administered it with the watering water. As protection, I also sprayed the leaves with a soap/baking soda mixture to prevent any infection. For the past two days, you can see small buds. So it's starting here too :-) I'm curious how many weeks it will be until they are ripe.

Hey, the plants look really good to me, especially in terms of development. I've noticed a few things that might help you. First of all, to my knowledge, clay pots are not the ideal solution; I would prefer fabric pots (you can't transplant in those) or plastic pots with holes. Fabric pots are particularly good because the roots need not only water but also oxygen, which can penetrate through the thin fabric layer. Additionally, they absorb water that spills out when watering or goes over the side. In general, you can start fertilizing when the plant has 2-3 pairs of leaves, but remember that less is more when it comes to fertilizing. Over-fertilization is very hard to fix, if not impossible, while under-fertilization can be corrected quickly. I would recommend sticking to the Canna Terra feeding schedule from now on. According to my calculations, you need about 3.8ml of Terra Vega per liter of water, and if available, 2ml/l of RHIZOTONIC and 2.5ml/l of CANNAZYM. Regarding pruning the plant, as long as you don't want to do mainlining or anything like that, you shouldn't think about defoliation just yet. I would consider defoliating a little in the 6th week if the plant is very bushy, or 1 week before switching to flowering, and then only remove leaves that block light to other tops. The plant always needs its leaves to finish the buds, so be just as careful with that as you are with fertilizing. For transplanting: When transplanting, you should make sure that the pot is well-rooted when you move the plant. To check this, take the plant in one hand and grip the stem between your middle and ring finger with the other. Then turn the plant upside down so that it's upside down in your hand, and you can carefully remove the pot to see if the roots are strong enough. I would recommend not doing this every day since roots are very sensitive and don't like light. But I think your plants can stay in the pot for another good 10 days. After that, I would put them in a 15-25 liter pot, preferably in good soil (BioBizz Allmix / Plagon Allmix, etc.). Additionally, I noticed that you mentioned having an automatic plant in the tent; I think that might be a mistake, or is that really the case? That wouldn't work very well. I think your grow is looking great so far; the plants are healthy and thriving, and you're taking good care of them. Great job +1👆 Keep it up 👏👏 PS: What kind of light are you using, something decent? If you have any questions, feel free to message me privately!
