Build a soil kind of drys out fast to me so I started to use the barley straw to help with moisture but so far it seems good to go haven’t ph the water yet think imma start next week been using RO water and I’ve used spring deer park water couple times
Start of week three looks like everything is good so far
Topped one ( less leafy one on the left) today feb17th first time topping might do the other one in few days not sure yet if I want to just let it grow nat
Day 19 Feb 19 I topped the other one on the right bushy one
have some type of deficiency have some spots on leaves but besides that things look okay they both need more water now not sure how long I can veg in the containers I’ll probably try get another week or two then up pot to 7 gallons
I broke a branch and new growth from topping today smh trying to bend it for training and was to rough so i put some tape on it hopefully they grow back in a week or two
Feb 25 getting one of them ready for transplant I’ll probably do it in two days I’m going to let the one with the broken branch heal for another week probably before I transplant
Feb 28
Did some trimming of the lower leafs
Almost time for one to be transplanted the cover crop have not grown in the 7gal yet I seen some growing but not a lot
Week5
March 1st day 30
I transplanted one( the one with no broken branch) inti the 7gal today watered and did some LST I really hope it adapts to its new home I’ve never transplanted before I used extreme garden MYCOS hope it works also moved the light up a bit and plan on going 100% once I transplant the other one
March 2nd transplanted the other one (broken branch one) my shop didn’t have 3.0😔😔😔😔😔😔😔 so i used DNC Great Lakes water only soil hopefully this works and I mixed some 3.0 I had left from the other pot cross fingers for nice transition to its new home
March 5 been three days since transplant can’t really tell if they adapted to there new homes yet some sings of stretching since transplant I’ve never transplanted before and I’m not sure if they need water or not so imma chill let them go for couple more days then I’ll water scared to over water them right now since I transplanted them don’t want to over stress them other one in 3.0 seems little droopy to me compared to the one in Great Lakes but Great Lakes soil seems bit dry sooooo idk I’m going keep an eye on them
Week 6
Started today transplanted them sat it’s Thursday now this Saturday March 9th is a week since looks like they are taking tk the new home okay so far hope this keeps up
March 8th did a second topping today on both but on every top just two on each plant and I’m done topping March 9th is one week since transplant next Thursday I thinking I will flip then or that Saturday just want them to show stronger signs of growth by then
March 9th some deflation everything still looking okay
Been busy
But they look okay the one with broken branch been up and down in trying dail in watering the Great Lakes soil besides that it’s okay going flip next most likely next week sometime
today markes two weeks since transplant
Seems like they taking well so far
March 17 added some growers choice recharge to both
Everything seems cool so far they are drinking lot more water now
Used grower recharge still once a week
Going on a trip 31-3 I got acinfinity wick wartering pots that should help while I’m away plan on top watering real good on Saturday and I’m going out water in the pots and that should give me time to be away with out any worries 🤞🏾
April 4th 2024
Went on vacation for few days and came back to lil disappointment with one I was using the acinfinity bottom watering pot and one plant didn’t even drink from its water reservoir I have no clue why not and other did came back to empty pot so hopefully the water I watered with from top works that’s only problem I came back to other plant is going did some defoliation
Welp today April 7th I messed around and found out what to much LST can do if ya to rough I cracked one plant right down the middle but with quick thinking got some tape and taped that hoe right up so hopefully I’m good besides that feed recharge today bout half gal each to scared to go full gallon don’t want to drown them
Weather in my area have been getting my tent in the low to mid 80’s I’m going start running my ac in my house to keep the temps down somewhat going add his green bloom tomorrow for day 23 of flower other than that both looks good to me
Recently had a gnat issues from what I read it’s something you can run into using build a soil or growing organic so I got some neem oil to handle it it help a lot still have some but a ton less other than that this is where I am with these two everything seems okay so far
Really don’t have much to say been a real easy grow even tho temps been getting in mid to high 80’s lately I got a jewelers jewel think it’s cheap cause it’s 10X can’t really see the trichomes to well I seen some amber but I’m sure if it’s not cut down this week may23rd it will definitely be cut next around May 27thish
