Seven weeks from sprout.
Notes from week 7:
Decided to abandon the 2x2x4 tent for a larger setup. The girls were just getting too large, both vertically and horizontally. I could have removed one from the tent and continued, but it's too cold outside still and I don't have a good location in the house to position it for enough direct sunlight. So I decided to upgrade to a larger 2x4x6 tent. An upgraded light should arrive today.
I'm sure I would have been fine in the smaller tent if I had only heeded the recommendation to grow only one plant and had I been more aggressive with early LST. Oh well. The plants have plenty of room to spread out now and other that doing some additional defoliation and maybe spreading out some of the limbs to allow more light to the lower bud sites I'll probably just let these plants do their thing from here on out. On the bright side this has been a fun, though costly, learning experience.
@Herbie101, thanks, I'm probably gonna need some luck. My growing experience is all suburban Dad yard planting - dig the hole, fill it with a soil mix, water it and then let nature take it's course, try to fix any problems that come up. This is a bit different, but thankfully there's so much helpful info here and elsewhere. I'm pretty much blown away by the expertise of some growers.
BTW, your grows look awesome! Hope I'm half as successful.
