This plant is doing really well and quite resistant to any condition as the weather in Cape Town, South Africa, has been on a rollercoaster. The week before was 30+ degrees celsius and this week has been lower 20s and some light showers. I do however pay close attention to the weather and move the plants when it rains. I think this one is gona turn into a real beauty.
This one is so healthy and strong. I have pushed up the nutrients. We had good weather all week so this baby really soaked up the sun. The stem is getting thicker and seeing new growth daily.
This week is exciting to learn where the bud sites will eventually form. I can now count the nodes. I would give it one more week before I HST. Has an amazing smell when rubbing the stem. New growth every day on this girl. Really excited to see what this plant becomes as she was the last seed to pop but she has grown the fastest. The plants seem to love the nutrients. No signs of burning at all and noticeable changes when it comes to growth.
This plant is growing so fast. I think it wants to flower but that could be from the lack of sun over this past week. Trying to slow flowering down by cutting the dark cycle with lights during the night. I feel she needs to grow a bit more before I would like to switch but hey, it's her life lol
This plant has taken well to the lst. It's bushing out nicely and started to bud. The light hours are out of my control as it is growing outdoors but I have added bio bloom and stopped bio grow. Budsites are clear and will probably need to do some defoliating soon. Have noticed alot of gnats so have set a trap in each pot. The smell is more intense and that is probably what is attracting them. Over all she's looking happy and can see the effects of fimming.
Buds now on all sites. Slowly becoming thicker. Still wondering if she's gona grow out more than she has while flowering. Pest trap is working but still see few gnats trying to feed off her. I don't wana go the neem oil route but let's see.
The budsites are getting thicker and it's looking nice and frosty. A bit disappointed but you live and you learn. I won't give up on her though. She will give me a few grams. Plan to make concentrate with this girl.
I have defoliate her and tied her budsites away from each other. She's still growing each day. Other budsites catching up to the length of the main budsites. Smells so clean and fruity. I love the smell of her!
Flushing has started yesterday guys. Will be flushing for two weeks. I'm excited to chop this little lady down and see what she has for me. You can see the green is slowly changing from the very dark colour it was before. I bought a loupe so you can have a look but my camera doesn't pick up all the detail as my eye would.
This strain smoked really well so I'm hoping that translates well into concentrates. I would definitely grow it again as I really enjoyed this mild high. It's a smoke you can have if you feel for a buzz but still want to be productive. I have guessed the bud weight as it was quite a bit but not over the top.
Your plant still looking very green which means still a lot of nitrogen available. I count week 6 of flowering. When you cutting? week 8? Have you started flushing yet?
@Siemsalabiem I have a grow shop close by but I just don't have the time to go. Wish takes too long to deliver to SA. Will get it soon though, the pistils are still very white so I'm not in a rush.
@GGrows, I bought a 60x pocket microscope from wish.com - think was R17 (I know !!) plus $2 shipping plus R25 SA customs charge. Thing is a bit flimsy but works fine and came with 3x small batteries (bonus). I had to wait 3 months for the thing to arrive tho ... sigh.
@Siemsalabiem I havent started flashing. The pistils are still very white. I need to buy a scope this week and will estimate the flush and harvest then.
Is the above pic at 5 weeks? I only ask because they look small and autos can be tricky. Did you transplant them early on? Check out my week 5 pics for comparison. Just trying to help as in the past I transplanted my autos and they never recovered and I ended up with a 5 inch plant that had on popcorn nug cola.
Hey, it's not an auto. Always been in a 15L bucket. I haven't transplanted at any stage. Will check yours out. I actually noticed they look quite small on the pics. Will use a ruler next week. Also just saw that you are growing indoor. Both mine are outdoors so it could just be going alot slower. I have seen indoor growers with my strain and compared them to outdoor.
