The seed germinated very quickly in 24 hours in the paper towel, I planted it straight away, it came out in 2 days and since it has developed well and she is in good health, for the start of my first grow I am satisfied and I can't wait to see what happens next :)
Nice noodle :) This bulb is good only up to 3rd week with distance from 30cm (after germinating) to 15cm(3rd week), with plant height 15cm too.
Then canopy area, light angle and intensity goes not together... Need add 2-3 bulbs after week 4 and start again at distance 40-60cm. This one will produce minimum yelds.
@Jack11, Thank you for your detailed response, I appreciate :)
For the next time I would do LST and I would better optimize my lighting with additional bulbs if I can, I would also change the substrate and add mycorrhizae.
I also thought that putting at least 20 hours of light would be a good idea, but is it a good at this stage of flowering?
@jakethedog, this year im trying cheap emos 19w bulbs, with removed plastic difusor. It really works, but high voltage without covering is little bit dangerous. Already hitted me 2 times :D I cant see difference on plants between sansi and this bulbs for less than quarter price. Only lifetime can be lower, they are shining 3 months without problem, 4 bulbs in distance 20cm for 60cm tall plant... Much safer what i can recommend will be ready products with promo from marshydro, spiderfarmer... etc, with dimmer. Its not cheapest, but it have much more power, dimming, hundreeds od leds, deatachable led driver (heat source).... Or you can buy 2-3 more sansi leds :) p.s.: look at spring discounts, sansi have promo too. I am using same bulbs for vegging vegetables in grow tent, all plants looks happy. What you need is adjust ppfd/DLI, try app for mobilephone "photone" ;)
And yes, LST is way. But now too late for you. Now you need more light power. Next time: 1 bulb start with 1ft distance from germinating to 1st week veg, then each week 1" lower. After 2nd veg week apply LST. 4th week after plant stretch increase light distance with more light power (at least 60w). Now you have maybe 600umol at top of plant, but lower leaves (at 0-60cm) do not receive enough light (less than 150micromoles is useless). This is reason, why is better use strong lamps (150w or more) with higher position... If you have at 2feet distance 600micromoles, 1 feet lower your plant receive still enought (+-300umoles) With this one 24w sansi you have 600umoles at 0,5ft, but 1 feet lower you have 1/4 of light. And this is not good.
I knew that this bulb was not of very good quality, with lst it could have worked better perhaps?
What lamp with a small budget do you recommend ?
Thanks for your advices :)
