Double Grape from Mephisto Genetics should produe some lovely smoke! Feb 7 - New seeds, increasing pot size for hopefully larger yields. I also want to try trellis netting. Feb 8 - Calculated soil volume at 2.26 gallons. More than my last grow, but not quite 3 gallons. I suspect seed to break soil in the next 2-3 days. Feb 9 - Scratched top layer of soil back to allow less matter for the seed to push through. Also applied small amount of water to soil to keep moisture constant. Day temp is 75F and night is likely 10F cooler. Feb 10 - Watered after removing more soil to ensure germination isn't hampered by too much soil above. Found seed and lightly covered with soil. I susect breaking soil in the next 2 days. Feb 11 - Taproot is visible. Applied a few droplets of water to maintain moisture. Feb 12 - DAY 1 Feb 12 - Popped above soil with shell stuck on cotyledon. Feb 12 - The two Cotyledons are stuck together with the membrane (I think) still attached, perhaps due to shallow burial. Applied a drop of saliva to the head of membrane (which also had soil on top). WIll wait 24 hours, but I suspect tomorrow morning should be completely open. Feb 12 - Removed via wedging closed fiskars between cotyledons and gently opened. Membrane came off relatively easily. Feb 13 - Cotyledons are unwrapping nicely after 6 hours of darkeness. Working on getting less light leaks going during night period. Hoping by the end of the day this seedling will be standing straight Feb 13 - First set of serrated true leaves are appearing, however slightly curled and a little browner than I'd like. Distance to center of light was 24", now moved to at least 26" to avoid lightburn. Feb 13 - Temp is 74F, Humidity 80-85%. Ran out of humidifier water reservoir so it was a little dry in the morning before I realised.

Feb 14 - DAY 2 Feb 14 - Soil remains moist - I'm not seeing HUGE growth yet, so I worry the soil has been too moist for too long. I'll wait until late afternoon before watering if soil is dry enough. Feb 14 - Height 1.38" Feb 15 - Soil drying nicely. Night temp 69F. Morning temp 73F Feb 15 - Height 1.57" Feb 15 - Seedling was Perky with true leaves slightly praying. I don't have mister so applied1/4oz water at diameter of seedling at widest point via water dropper. Feb 16 - 6.30AM - Height at 1.67" Added another 1/4 oz of water at circumference of leafspan. Feb 17 - 6.30AM - Height at 1.77". Added another 1/4 oz of water at circumference of leafspan. Feb 17 - 10.0PM - Height at 1.97" Feb 18 - Watered at 9AM. Feb 19 - Watered at 7AM. Leaf span is growing wider. Feb 19 - 4.00PM - Height is 2.17". Second set of true leaves developing. Feb 20 - Watered at 9AM. Next watering will be PH 6.3 and de-chlorinated. Feb 20 - Noticed night temp at 64F. WIll increase. Feb 20 - Second set of true Leaves are beginning to develop. Day temp gets to 75F. Feb 20 - 2.30PM Noticing some light green at the veins of the leaves - likely PH related. Feb 20 - 2.30PM - Height is About the same as yesterday. Feb 20 - Curious about when professional growers start using PH'd water, perhaps from germination - I suspect the crinkling i'm seeing in the leaves is due to untested PH w. dechlorinated water.

Feb 21 - Day 9 above soil. Feb 21 - 10.20AM Watered with PH 6.3 dechlorinated water. The seedling was droopy due to lack of water I suspect (given more than 24 hours since last watering). She should perk up in the next few hours. Feb 21 - Second set of true leaves continue developing, though height hasn't increased much. Feb 21 - 3PM Height is roughly 2.36" It's grown about a centimeter since this mornings water and is perkier. Feb 22 - 10.45AM - Soil seems moist from yesterdays watering, will wait for it to dry before watering again. Feb 22 - 01.45PM - 3 Finger Fan leaves are appearing Feb 22 - 05.30PM - Soil still moist Feb 23 - 08.45AM - Watered with dechlorinated PH'd water. Feb 23 - 06.30PM - Rotated pot to allow fan and lamp to hit different angles. Feb 23 - 9.000PM - Perking up. Feb 24 - 01.20PM - Soil still seems a little moist. Feb 24 - 08.45PM - Height is 3.05 inches. Perky, without any water. Feb 25 - 06.15AM - Watered Feb 25 - 02.00PM - 3 Finger leaves established. Feb 25 - 08.25PM - Perking up. Feb 25 - 08.25PM - Height is 3.15 inches. Feb 26 - Watered at Noon - Increased to 2 fluid oz. Soil was dry and plant beginning to droop. Feb 27 - Noon - Soil is still moist - I rolled down the edge of the fabric pot - hopefully I didn't damage the roots in doing so. Feb 27 - 07.50PM - Perking up nicely, whch is a good sign roots haven't beeen severely damaged by movement. I suspect 5 finger fan leaves approaching next. Feb 27 - 07.50PM - Height is 3.54 inches. Feb 27 - 11:00PM - Soil still slightly moist, very perky. Feb 28 - 07:00AM - Watered 2 oz.

Feb 28 - 16 days old / above soil. Feb 28 - Watered at 7AM - 2 fluid oz. Hoping to see her perk up moreso in the next few hours. Feb 28 - Added another fan to ensure leaves are slightly moving at all times. Previously leaves only moved when oscilating fan arc passed. Feb 29 - Realised a spilled water reservoir was watering the fabric pot base - thus likely overwater. Need to be more careful with fabric pots on ground as they wick moisture. Feb 29 - Reduced oscilating fan intensity and moved farther from plant to avoid wind damage. Feb 29 - Added another 100w light for 3 hours. Gradually increasing time each week. Feb 29 - 04.00PM - Temps floating around 77F. Experimented with increasing exhaust fan and planned on adding fan aimed at light. Extra fan seems broken, will investigate. Feb 29 - 08.45PM - Soil is still moist, likely going to see issues due to water spill. Droopy leaves. Feb 29 - 11.20PM - Starting to perk up March 1 - Noticing light green on one of the leaves. Perhaps nitrogen toxicity. March 1 - 2PM - Soiil still seems moist from the spill, I'll monitor. March 1 - Stem starting to stiffen. March 1- 6PM, starting to perk up - still, no water. March 2 - 11AM Watered 1.25 fluid oz. Almost half amount as previous. Droopy Leaves. Not much growth in height. March 2 - Temperature getting up to 80F March 2 - 7.25PM - Height is 4.33", with hopefully perking to come later this evening. March 3 - Nitrogen Toxicity. Burnt tips on 2-3 of new leaves, slight clawing + yellowing of another leaf - I suspect from the first couple weeks with non-PH chlorinated water. March 3 - Started very minor leaf tucking to convert lower nodes into auxilary branches. March 3 - I will try not to water for another day. I want to see her perking up. March 3 - 3PM - Strangely starting to perk up without any water. Keep this in mind for future grows, less is more. March 3 - 3PM - Height is roughly 4.72" March 3 - 7PM - Perking up nicely. March 3 - 9.45PM - Perking up moreso. Day 21 - Flowering Begins. March 4 - Pistils forming. This will be a small plant. Watered 1.25 fluid oz. at noon. I shouldn't water for 3 days and see how she responds. March 4 - Temps are around 72.5F to 76F March 5 - 1.45PM - Not perky. Perhaps I watered too soon. March 5 - 3.25PM Performed very minor Leaf-Tucking, may not hold under fans. March 5 - Need to think about amending soil soon. March 5 - Want to LST but don't want to stress plant and want to increase vertical growth. March 5 - Temps up to 76F with some tacoing. March 5 - 9.25PM Leaf's reverted bac - will tuck again tomorrow. March 7 - 4PM Still no water, Auxillary brances developing. Relatively perky, may not water until tomorrow at this rate. March 7 - First sign of 7 pointed leafs. March 7 - Decided to perform LST to expose lower nodes. March 7 - Increased higher wattage for extra 6 hours March 8 - 12.45PM Watered 3/4 oz. I think PH pen needs calibrating - Barely needed 'PH-down' solution compared to on average 3x drops in order to reach 6.3PH. March 8 - Not much is happening in terms of growth March 8 - 5PM Hasn't really responded in any way to water yet. March 8 - Preventing what I suspect is wind burn by moving static fan away from canopy (as it's height was in direct path of fan) March 9 - 6.50AM - Signs plant is responding to yesterdays water. March 9 - 5.00PM - Removed LST and rolled down edge of pot to allow airflow to below canopy. Pretty sure she'll die over the next couple days as the soil likely moved around the roots. March 11 - 6AM Watered 3 oz (maybe it was underwatered recently)

Day 27 - Plant is Stunted (NO PH'D WATER FOR FIRST WEEKS, UNDERWATERED AND NO LIGHT/ AIRFLOW FOR A WEEK) March 11 - Watered 3 fluid oz. at 6AM March 11 - Noon - Should probably kill this plant and start again. Will kill and start again March 17 - Decided to keep alive, after giving a few days of darkness as I planned to kill it. March 17 - Defoliated first wilted leaves. Funnily enough, the plant is perky after not having any water for 6 days. March 17 - Experimenting with no tent. RH is 30%

This Plant is now an experiment with 'bad' conditions. Likely stunted with the following: . Cold substrate . Overwatering (spilled reservoir) . Damaged Roots (adjusting top of fabric pot once soil settled) . Underwatering March 18 - Day 34 March 18 - Not much height, still perky - still no water. Resumed 18hr lighting. RH is below 30% which is likely contributing to stunted growth. March 19 - Added Humidifier back into the setup - It's constantly pumping in open space, with RH approaching 40%. March 19 - Noticed the leaf edges are curling down, perhaps to retain the moisture it's losing in dry environment. March 19 - Will water tomorrow, noticed the branches aren't as perky as yesterday. March 19 - Watered at 2.20PM 1 1/4 oz PH'd water. 37ml March 20 - Already drooping after very little water yesterday. Though maybe problems in the soil with drainage or something but was underwatered (UNDERWATERING). March 20 - Watered 500ml - to runnoff - perhaps it was Underwatered as the soil was light and dry after watering yesterday. March 20 - AMENDED TOP SOIL March 20 - I ammended soil AFTER watering because I forgot. Soil was still moist, but will likely not see benefits for a week or two. March 20 - Okay, Starting to perk up already after the 600-700ml watering today. March 20 - LST ties were re-applied at roughly 6PM March 20 - RH 40-50%. Temps 68F. Distance to light increased, I'll monitor the stretch. March 21 - 8AM Plant bud sites are re-oriented after LST March 21 - Leaf Tucking to expose lower bud sites. Will continue to bend plant as it grows. March 21 - Top inch seems to be drying nicely. Pot weight is still a little heavier so I'll water tomorrow. March 21 - Adjusted a new bud site with very little force aside from gravity + weight of wire. March 22 - Watered 600ml at 6AM to runoff. She was perky this morning, and dry up to first inch of soil. Night Temp 65F March 22 - Added oscilating fan back into the mix. Practically the same setup as before but without filter, tent and exhaust fan. March 22 - Bent main stalk to expose lower nodes and adjusted leaf tucking. March 23 - Main stalk is no longer straight with a bend, instead is starting to bend from the bottom of stem. March 24 - 9.45AM Very Perky - perhaps I'll wait to water for a few hours, will check pot weight. March 24 - 11.45AM Pot is still 'heavy.' Will water tomorrow morning at latest. March 24 - 2PM Watered 700ml,cultivated top soil and adjusted LST ties.

Day 41 - March 25 March 25 - Reverting shape from LST. Will continue adjusting LST as the day progresses. March 25 - Bent main stalk further and tied down, exposing lower nodes. Pot is still 'heavy,' will water tomorrow. They're consistenly drinking, so I'll increase water to 800ml. March 25 - Trichomes developing on main cola. March 25 - Reduced light to 13" to top of canopy. March 26 - 9AM Watered 800ml March 27 - Bud sites developing. Humidity spiked to 70's last night. March 27 - New Bud site leaves are lime green ENVIRONMENT UPDATE March 27 . Moved plant back into tent . Added an extra ts100 95w light, removed the HLG light. . Temperature is at 71F at soil level. . RH is set to 65% . Light height to canopy 40" March 28 - Watered 800-900ml at 6.30AM March 28 - 1.25PM Minor adjustment to LST March 28 - 1.25PM Changed light height from 40" to 13" above canopy. this increases temperature, but I'll monitor at soil level. March 29 - Adjusted LST as budsites are reverting. New lighting is going great. March 30 - Watered 800ml at 6AM March 30 - Raised light to 24" Perhaps this will cause a stretch. Sharing with 7 gallon pot in early germination stage. March 30 - Heat increased to 75-80F to facilitate germination of other Double Grape seed.

Day 48 - April 1 - Watered close to 1L at 11.30AM. Tucked leaves to reveal budsites. I expected a stretch to begin, however it looks like buds are still swelling. Need to decide what to do with the lower budsites. April 2 - Raised pot 3" - New canopy to lamp height is approximately 19." This will increase temperature. April 2 - 7.25PM She's getting super bushy, I did some leaf tucking and newbudsites were revealled. April 3 - Watered 1L at noon, I'll need to increase to 1.2L next watering as there was no runoff. April 4 - 3PM - Budsites popping up and is real sticky when leaf tucking. Need to consider setup for late flower to avoid mold. April 4 - 3PM - Elevated pot further, now 16" from light with PPFD of 370-400 April 4 - 3PM - May need to defoliate larger older leaves soon to promote airflow. Increased fan speed. April 5 - 8AM - Pot seems a little heavy, will wait to water. April 5 - 2.30PM Pot still seems a little heavy - likely due to only using one light. April 6 - Can't tell if recently chopped weed or I can smell the plants when lights are off. 1.50AM April 6 - DEFOLIATED at 3AM. April 6 - Replaced Air Filter dust cover April 6 - RH 70-75%, Temp 77-81F. April 7 - AMENDED SOIL (only 1 side of pot) 4.20PM - 0.25 tbsp of each component. Noticed some yellowing of leaf veins. April 7 - 4.20PM - Watered just under 1L to runoff. April 7 - DEFOLIATED 7PM - Removed 3 leaves all even number of leaves to improve airflow. April 7 - OVERNIGHT - Removed from tent to prevent mould developing overnight. Wind burn may occur.

Day 55 - April 8 April 8 - Need to keep temps down, difficult to maintain with a seedling growing in the same tent. April 8 - RH 65-70%, also difficult to maintain with a seedling growing in the same tent. April 8 - Let temp get to 82F again April 9 - 5.45PM Placed plant next to open glass door for afternoon sunshine + fresh airflow. I supplemented with a small fan. RH went down to mid 30s April 9 - 8PM Light to Canopy is 14" and Temp is 77F April 10 - 11.45AM Watered approx 1L until runoff. April 10 - 10.45PM Calyx are starting to swell. White pistils, so still a few weeks off. April 12 - Defoliated some leaves blocking budsites April 13 - Removed ties, added one for leaf tucking, defoliated mid section. April 14 - 2PM Watered 1L

Day 62 - April 15 - 10AM Noticing some browning leaf edges on one or two fan leaves. High RH due to sharing tent with seedling. White pistils still very much apparent, roughly 3-4 weeks out. ENVIRONMENT UPDATE (Only night time) April 17 - 4.10PM Moved to a room where there's no extraction fan, though a fan and light are providing airflow and light. This was due to finding some dark green fingers I suspect due to high humidity. April 18 - 2.40PM I should water today as it's been 4 days and the soil is dry up to 1" - pot doesn't feel super light though. April 18 - 10PM I watered 1L April 21 - Fade begins. April 21 - 3PM Watered 38oz / just over 1L

Day 70 - April 22 - Calyx swelling, trichomes are cloudy, with some clear. Calyx' are also turning purple. Very pleasant grape smell on the fingers. April 24 - 4.45PM Watered just over 1L to runoff. Fade developing further, more calyx are purple. Temps bouncing between 73F-78F April 24 - 5.00PM Calyx are cloudy, 1 amber, 1 clear. I suspect I still have a couple weeks of bulking to go, but trichomes look nice. April 24 - 10PM More calyx are turning purple. April 26 - 3.45PM Soil practically dry. Thirsty. April 26 - 5.30PM Watered just under 1L. RH 39-45% Temp 73F April 27 - 11AM Fade progressing. New calyx are emerging with clear trichomes. POTENTIALLY KILLED - PLANT FELL AND LANDED ON ITS SIDE. BASE OF TRUNK IS WOBBBLY. I PACKED WITH SOIL AND WATERED SLIGHTLY TO REINFORCE. April 27 - 7.30PM -Potentially dead, Clear Trichomes on new developing growth (second phase of bulking starting I think). Took 8 photos to reference death of developing calyx or further development. April 28 - 4.00PM - Watered 800ml (almost to runoff)- Need to save unchlorinated water for other plant.

Plant fell over and squashed against itself. The base of the trunk is wobbly but still attached deep down. I've packed soil around the base of the trunk to reinforce. I'm about 2 weeks from chop and want to know if it's worth harvesting now or if plant/yield will be fine?

If it’s still attached and seems fine, I’d leave her for the 2 weeks. Obviously keep an eye on her to make sure she is in fact fine and all. If she is fine, she’s going to put in more weight and probably fall again. Probably want to add some reinforcement other than just soil around her. Good luck

Day 76 - April 29 April 29 - 2.30PM Looks like there's damaged calyx' exposing a bright green interior. I hope it's not reverting to Veg state so close to chop as a result of the damage caused 48 hours ago. Hopeful they're not nanners too. April 29 - After further inspection, I found immature seeds, so I decided to chop in order to minimise what damage the remaining pollen might do to my larger, much younger plant. CHOPPED

Autoflower 2 weeks from chop. Plant fell over 2 days ago - perhaps this calyx came in contact with the floor and removed the 'skin' of the calyx? Is she starting to herm? Are these Nanners/ Male Pollen Sacs in the centre of the picture (bright green)? Or are they damaged calyx?

Yep, nanners coming. No need to do anything or be worried about them, you are so close to harvest, that even if they eventually release viable pollen, there will be absolutely no time at all for seeds to form.

I harvested 2 weeks early due to nanners identified. I was anxious the pollen would affect my much younger plant which has just started flowering. Yield is very low, as is expected from early harvest + terrible growing conditions throughout her life. Not to mention kicking the plant over.
