Hello, everyone. I am growing a strain called Pakistani Dreams by Pink Peninsula Genetics. These feminized seeds are made of an old fav - Blue Dream. Bred with Purple Pakistani Chitral Kush.
They were soaked in water for 3 days. Then, planted directly into 3 and 5 gallon fabric pots. Where they will stay until harvest.
These Pakistani Dreams baby plants are growing a little slow. I lowered the light to 2 and raised it up to 30 inches above the plants. Notice the wrinkles and slight yellowing. Today I checked the Ph and it's a little high at 7.4. I'll wait and see how they do, after changing the light, before adjusting the Ph down.
These babies got the Fifth Node treatment. Topped at the fifth, trimmed up to the third. They also got worm castings to help bring down the Ph level. The light was turned up to 4, and the humidifier was taken out. These girls are getting ready for flowering. 😎
These plants are doing well. The Ph is going down to a more normal level. They also got LST on the main branches. The only thing I see that is odd is that the leaves are a little yellow. I'll keep a close eye on them, in the next week.
This week was all about recovery from all the cuts and bends. The lights were turned up to 6, and set a little higher. The light is about 24 inches from the canopy.
They got their first nutes at the start of the week. Fed them GONZO FARMS - GROW as a nutrien tea. Then, after a couple of days they got bent and tied down. After a couple more days they seem to have recovered nicely 👽
At the start of the week these plants were trimmed. They are being prepared for the flowering stage. Then at the end of the week, they were fed one last time with Gonzo Farms - GROW, as a nutrient tea. Then, the lights were set to a 12/12 light schedule to set the plants into flowering. They were also treated with neem oil to combat fungus gnats.
These puppies are Feminized. Notice the female flowers beginning to grow. I bent the ends and removed some of the leaves. Then topped the ones that are growing too tall.
These Pakistani Dreams are at the two week mark (into flowering). They were defoliated on the bottom. I also added more soil to the pots, and put up a net.
End of week 14. These plants are doing great getting used to the changes they went through this week.
They were fed more FLOWER from Gonzo Farms (This brand was developed by a scientist who works at Los
Alamos National Laboratory...from right here in New Mexico!) GO SCIENCE!
I fed them FLOWER - Gonzo Farms as a nutrient tea. They were also bent a couple branches and it got fitted with another net on top. This should help control height, and separate the branches to allow light and air to get through.
When I touch the buds, they smell like blue dream with a little more sweet lemon/berry? Light smell in the tent.
These plants were fed this week with FLOWER. Sprinkled on top and scratched in. Then, the lights were turned up to 9. Some leaves were trimmed, not much.👽
They got fed FLOWER as a nutrient tea, the lights are now full blast (on 10), and very little trimming was needed this week. There is very little growth upwards. They are the same height as last week.
These ladies are looking great! 😍 The buds have big pistols (hairs)! They are getting covered in trichomes all around the buds, and forming loose colas. They seem like they are close to finishing?? Oh, AND they smell strongly of terpentine and that blue dream smell!
Almost done! Two out of three were harvested. They have been cut and are hanging in the closet. One was left to finish a few days after the rest. It has white hairs all over the tips of the buds, and the trichomes are not quite done. Some amber is welcome since this strain is indica dominant. I'll let it grow a couple more days, then in the dark for the last 24 hours.
