Started paying more attention to a vpd chart, so I feel the environment is a lot more dialed in. She is a lot more vibrant. Hopefully the increase in humidity is fought off by the recharge I top dressed it with
I was hoping to wait until the end of this week to use the self watering bases since the plant looks old enough, and I don't want to over do it. Should I set it up after I too dress with recharge again, or will beginning of week 5 work?
I feel you need to wait till the plant has explored all the medium before going to self watering.
If the roots are not fully explored I feel wet spots will be an issue and areas of the pot will become rancid with no wet dry cycle.
I have only done self watering outdoors and the pots went through a proper wet and dry cycle. if they stayed wet all the time they has issues.
Good Luck!
Is the 1 star rating due to it growing too big or what?
If you are looking for a very compact plant, check out "critical dwarf- ganja farmer seeds
it's super tiny and compact if that's what you're looking for.
@Dabking, the plant they had was already pretty small.
You have to zoom and scroll into the pictures but they have their exhaust fan and filter in the top of the tent, so it's probably a 2x2x4 with 3.2" lost to autopot base, 11" hang and gap from LED for fan+filter, 8" for the pot ... plant is 16.8" and hasn't even flowered (presuming that's 16.8" plant and not PLANT + POT)
Move your fan and filter outside of your tent (I use the 4" AC infinity fan, it'll pull a 2x2x4 tent to negative pressure from outside w/ a filter it's pushing through).
You're losing a ton of space from hanging fan/filter in there. Put the output (filter here) next to the intake if you're worried about smells. Klein bottle it on the tent floor and rock your "I can conjugate a quaternion" muscles of mind.
Autopot is eating 3.2" of vertical space minimum.
You didn't even bother to attempt to tie it down and bend the trunk stem.
I've culled plants, you've culled plants. You never bothered a well-exercised thought on how to save the plant.
I do respect your right to be salty about a 2/3 germination failure.
