Unfortunately the first seed did not seem like it was gonna grow as the little bit of taproot that showed itself browned and stopped growing. The second is going nice and strong.
Started paying more attention to a vpd chart, so I feel the environment is a lot more dialed in. She is a lot more vibrant. Hopefully the increase in humidity is fought off by the recharge I top dressed it with
I was hoping to wait until the end of this week to use the self watering bases since the plant looks old enough, and I don't want to over do it. Should I set it up after I too dress with recharge again, or will beginning of week 5 work?
I feel you need to wait till the plant has explored all the medium before going to self watering.
If the roots are not fully explored I feel wet spots will be an issue and areas of the pot will become rancid with no wet dry cycle.
I have only done self watering outdoors and the pots went through a proper wet and dry cycle. if they stayed wet all the time they has issues.

She finally seems to be getting her growth spurts. Already super bushy, so I've got the netting ready for it to really get growing. Humidity still dances around a bit, but trying to not force my exhaust to run all the time.
I am not liking the scrog. Trying it for this grow as an experiment and it seems to be rough with teaf tuck and trying to further space branches apart. Plus I can't turn her for her full glory now. Started stretching, so I'm assuming she will be in pre-flower soon.
Doing consistent defoliation to keep the canopy breezy. She's just going for the long haul, and seems happy. Hopefully I get 6 even bud sites from the scrog which seems better now that I understand not to move the leaves around too much. The grow dots and recharge are working like a dream.
I'm getting a little anxious about her. I've seemingly made too many mistakes from overdoing the recharge, and having lights too high. I set up the self watering base so I can spend a little more time on trying to sort out my environment. I'm also running out of room fast, and not a lot of pistils/ stigmas are showing.
