Well, GD let me add a proper week number for this very old plant. That wasn't expected, cool!
We are doing great, with lush green leaves still, and also slowly inching up -- now at 5ft tall.
I didn't do anything to her again this week. No defoliation or anything. I like care-free plants!
Now, when bloom comes, she is definitely going to need care, with strong support for her heavy branches. But, we'll cross that bridge soon enough!
Nice! I grew some grease monkey clones last year. Definitely pungent flowers. You will know. I'm growing seeds from those plants this year - not the same, but I am hopeful.
This diary is a living example that one must maintain hope until the end 🙌. The recovery of the Monkey Grease has been amazing. Will we witness, through this diary, how our sweet "Monkey" becomes a "Monster"? Stay tuned for the next chapters 😉💚🧡
Hey did you have any problems with pests? I transplanted my young plants and all the leaves were eaten within 2 hours. Do you have any idea how to fight them off?
