Not much to report this week, I will be giving them their first light feed at 25% strength here tomorrow or the next day. These first couple of weeks are normally where I end up seeing some root rot on one or two of the girls but we are good so far so I am hoping I can keep the water temps at a better level for the first crucial couple of weeks until we have a more developed root system. Not much to report this week, she has been growing at a slow and steady rate so I am hoping to see a jump in growth over the next couple of weeks so we can start some training. She will be getting her first res change tomorrow so I am hoping that will help boost her along. She is right in the middle in terms of size so far in the tent. Happy growing everyone! What's up growers! We finally starting to see some real growth this week and that allowed me to do some more LST tying down the main stem and some side stems while tucking the larger fan leaves! This girl is definitely the largest so far and looks like she just picking up speed so I am not expecting that to change and especially because I have still been dealing with some stunted girls in some of the other tanks due root rot issues I suspect it's pythium. But this girl has not shown any signs of it so I am hoping that she now has a developed enough root system to be a bit more resistant and I have been able to keep the water temps under 70-71 for the whole grow this week. Which I hope leads to less issues with root rot! Happy growing everyone! What's up growers! No complaints this week, finally lol, we have been battling constant issues with root rot this grow on several of the girls. This Strawberry Gorilla luckily never really got any root issues and she is for sure the largest of the girls so far! We are definitely coming into preflower so this will be the last week I mark as Veg and next week will be week 1 of flower😁 This girl grew a lot this week so that allowed me to do a bit of defoliation and continue with some more LST! This week was the first of flower and we are starting to see a good amount of growth, I am still hoping that these girls will stretch a good bit more before they really start developing bud sites. This week went well no real issues, I was really hoping these girls would stretch some more so they'd be a little less crowded but we'll see if they do any more stretching this week🙏 Other than that this Strawberry Gorilla is looking good, and she has still been developing more and more bud sites over the last week!😁 If they don't end up stretching more this week I'll do a pretty heavy defoliation to open up the canopy some more as it's gotten pretty crowded! There hasn't been many issues this week except battling dropping pH levels, but I am thinking it might have been from a bit too strong of a feed so I just changed it again today to W9 50% feed instead of 66% so I will be monitoring the pH levels closely. But other than that this girl is doing well she has been developing more and more bud sites over the week and she has definitely stopped stretching so I did a good defoliation last night to allow for some more light penetration and airflow! 🙏🔥 Happy growing everyone! What's up growers! I hope everyone is doing good and had some festive 420 celebrations! This week came and went pretty fast and this Strawberry Gorilla is starting to get pretty wide and looking pretty awesome! I wish she would have stretched some more, she stayed very compact and that's leading to her being quite overgrown with foliage that getting in the way of the bud sites even with a good bit of defoliation! Other than that she is starting to put out some nice smell, mainly leaning towards a sweet fruity aroma with a bit of funk so far but I am expecting to become more distinctive as she ripens and I should be able to better be able to put my nose on what exactly the smell is! She is now also starting to put out some nice fruity aromas🔥🙏 This week was the week when she was supposed to be done according to Fastbuds but I never expect the time to line up, I feel like they normally run a couple of weeks more than expected, so I am counting on her going another couple of weeks maybe! We're starting to get close to the end here with this girl and I have started feeding her just water and I'm assuming that I will harvest her over the next week! 🙏👽 She is getting real sticky and her buds are feeling nice dense and solid, and she is giving of a pungent sweet fruit aroma when smelled 🍓🔥 I am not expecting the largest yield on these plants as they never stretched much but I'm still expecting a decent return due to her denseness and I am really hopeful that this will be the best bud I've grown so far!👽 But happy growing everyone! What's up grower! I was hoping to harvest this Strawberry Gorilla this coming week but I am not sure if she'll be quite ready or if she'll need a couple of days more to finish up but I do want to harvest both this plant and my Banana Purple Punch at the same time so I am hoping for the next weekend but I guess we'll know by the next update Sunday! Outside of the longer flowering time this Strawberry Gorilla has been awesome to grow and has stacked up some super nice dense buds!
