Orange pistils are very normal. Usually on the buds nearest the light first. One thing that had me stumped was I had just one bud on the whole that had gone totally orange while the others were all still white. It was just after seeds were found in other plants that I feared pollination. I asked on here and got a few answers. The correct answer was that I’d squeezed that bud (as you do) and damaged the pistils, phew. So if it’s the bud you may touch more than others that could be the cause. If you get some close up pics on your diary and let me know when and I’ll have a look for tou
@SkunkleDamo, ah okay yes I think that was the problem. I did a ton of research for my first grow but somehow didn't learn don't touch the buds 😅🤦 oh well at least it was only one or two that are orange
I was looking at your diary to answer a question better and I read you have premature brown pistils. Just a warning to check something. Are they brown and not orange? Premature turning of pistils and more so brown ones can indicate she has been pollinated. Just check all plants incase one hasn’t hermied. I wouldn’t want anyone to have to deal with what I just have. Seeds at harvest is heart
@SkunkleDamo, thank you so much for your concern! But I have double and triple checked for signs of herming and have not found anything. But will still check again tomorrow to be more thorough ☺️
