Sundae driver really has a growth spurt after defoliating. Worried new growth may be too light green or yellow, would love some insight from more experienced growers! And curious on when I should flip? Is now too early?
On day 54 for holy water, and day 49 sundae driver. Realized my weeks may be a little inaccurate so I'm making another entry. And I have officially switched plants to flower this afternoon 3/8
Buds are starting to form this week, I think it's starting to smell but can't quite differentiate between the normal vegetative smell and the dank smell 😅 there was a problem of a couple pistils turning brown prematurely but I lowered the heat and raised the lights so fingers crossed that fixed it 😬
I think I'm seeing the bud forming through this pistils, heading into week 5 tomorrow looks like I'm over the hump! Hoping harvest is right on that 9 week mark 😋
Had about 8 leaves on the right hand side of sundae driver go yellow but I'm figuring she's just relocating nutrients 😌 buds are getting thicker everyday but of course not fast enough
On Day 60, buds have gotten very thick very fast. Waiting for trichomes to show a little more amber before harvest, hoping I won't have to wait another week but I have a feeling I will 🤷
Definitely happy with my results! As a first time grower I said I'd be stoked if I got an ounce of each plant and I got over 2 ounces on sundae driver and 1 ounce of of holy water (very surprised by that one considering I found the seed from a bud I bought). Also wet weight for holy water was 226g
Orange pistils are very normal. Usually on the buds nearest the light first. One thing that had me stumped was I had just one bud on the whole that had gone totally orange while the others were all still white. It was just after seeds were found in other plants that I feared pollination. I asked on here and got a few answers. The correct answer was that I’d squeezed that bud (as you do) and damaged the pistils, phew. So if it’s the bud you may touch more than others that could be the cause. If you get some close up pics on your diary and let me know when and I’ll have a look for tou
@SkunkleDamo, ah okay yes I think that was the problem. I did a ton of research for my first grow but somehow didn't learn don't touch the buds 😅🤦 oh well at least it was only one or two that are orange
I was looking at your diary to answer a question better and I read you have premature brown pistils. Just a warning to check something. Are they brown and not orange? Premature turning of pistils and more so brown ones can indicate she has been pollinated. Just check all plants incase one hasn’t hermied. I wouldn’t want anyone to have to deal with what I just have. Seeds at harvest is heart
@SkunkleDamo, thank you so much for your concern! But I have double and triple checked for signs of herming and have not found anything. But will still check again tomorrow to be more thorough ☺️
