24/10/18 - Seeds arrived this week and put in water for 24hr then paper towel for 24-48 hours and I’ll update then. ✌️🏻
28/10/18 - everything’s looking good it took them 24hrs to break out the top of the coco, I’m watering 100ml a day at the moment and will be upping the rhizotonic in a day or two.
03/11/18 - Their looking healthy just seem to be abit smaller than usual at a week old but I’ve just gave them some a&b so hopefully that’s should kick start things, also will be upping the rhizo and a&b in a few days.
07/11/18 - Everything’s looking cool other than they look a day or two behind what they should be but other than that I’m very happy with them, I have upped the rhizo to 2ml per litre and the a&b to 1m per litre. 💦💦💧
Still looking smaller than usual but I think it could be down to the genetics I’m not sure, I saw a little brownish/orange burn spot on the tips of Grapey Walter #2, it dosent look like nute burn but not to sure it’s an issue at the moment.
Did the first bit of LST of these girls tonight and hopefully they will respond well and start bushing out letting the dident branches catch up.
Everything’s look well except from a few marks on the leaves here and there, started to see some white Pistils so should be starting stretch soon ✌️🏻
Did some trimming on a few fan leaves and have continued to LST and leaf braiding, have had a few marks on the lower leaves which I think is a cal mag deficiency so I’ve upped it to 2ml/per litre. Plant #2 is the tallest of the bunch, close to being twice the size of the others,
Start of flower now so the stretching has begun, I’ve had to bending down plant #2 as I don’t want it too close to the light, will be adding canna boost tomorrow, would of been today but couldn’t make it to my local hydro shop ✌️🏻
Started adding some boost, looking a lot healthier now. The grapey Walters are taking a little longer to start flower compared to the sour stompers but their only a few days behind in comparison.
These two are looking like their gonna be different pheno types cause Grapey Walter #1 has remained short and wide af but Grapey Walter #2 is towering over all the others in height which shouldent be a problem, also Grapey Walter #1 is flowering a bit slower than the rest 👌🏻
Still looking good, starting to frost up now also added an 4” air intake and hung it up to blow air across the canopy.
Hopefully will be starting flush next week seeing how it is, gonna do a two week flush, yes it is coco but I want a proper flush this time round so o can get that thick white ash we all know and love instead of some nasty dark gray/Black.
Started flush at start of week 9, will flush all the way till the end of week 10.
To be honest I’m not sure we’re I land with the grapey Walters, they have some nice big colas but they don’t seem to be dense at all not sure if that’s my fault or if it’s just the genetics, their mildly frosty no were near as frosty as the sour stompers ajecent to them.
They do have a lovely smell and I hope that I’m wrong and I might end up being a fan of them depending on the high/taste, only time will tell. ✌️🏻
They been flushed for 6 days now, grapey Walter #2 is fine and showing signs of being flushed, but #1 still is very green but has these horrible burns, only ones I can see and it’s also on the main cola near the top, if anyone can help would be much appreciated.
There's nothing that you can do at this point. The burnt tips are a clear sign of over feeding. That only one plant is exhibiting them, only means that the others were a bit more resistant to the over feeding; if you look at the past weeks, there's a persistent dark green color on the foliage, characteristic of nitrogen toxicity. For growing in soil an EC/PPM meter is a very useful tool, but for coco and hydro it is a must. Two weeks flush is too much for coco, there's no buffer of nutrients in the media for the end of the flower period, 1 week is enough. although in this case just continue to feed water only so the plant consume the excess of nutes it has already accumulated in its foliage. 24hrs till the chop, so far I’m happy with these two, one has grew tall and has a few huge colas whilst the other bushes out and has smaller budsites but both smell fire , really pungent & feels like it’s covered with glue.
This strain has some huge colas, definitely biggest colas I’ve seen but these seem to be very Sativa like (huge airy buds) they do seem to be about a 7/10 when it comes to density which is still good just I prefer a nice dense bud which is why I try to grow mainly indica’s but the main thing I love about this strain is the taste, it generally taste like grapes and I’m not kidding. It sorta reminds me of a grape blunt wrap taste while smoking a joint & it’s still got a lot of frost so I’m quite happy with the outcome.
@@TheWeedMan, I’ll definitely be following thoose once you’ve got them going, And you’ll probably get a lot of freebie seeds aswell, I got sour bubbly and DBC.
@@@@TheWeedMan, if you like strawberry nuggets they’ve crossed it with a few different strains like forum stomper, toof decay etc I would of got some if they were in stock when I was buying them so I went for these two as they were both recommended cause of the fruity taste. 👍🏻
@RinneGrow,I normally chop them once the majority of the Pistils have turned orange, I haven’t got a magnifying lenses to check the trichs properly but I can normally do it by eye and when I see 20-30% Amber trichs is normally the sweet spot for me, I flushed too early with these girls unfortunately, I just wanted to flush them properly which seems to be going well so far
nice! I'm a week behind you on my g.w. just started week 7, but all the trichoms are already white. I'm thinking another week too.. when do you usually like to chop them?
@PharmaZ,that’s what I’m hoping for cause my light should be able to penetrate all the way through these girls compared to the royal gorrila that’s were all 1.3m tall.
