24/10/18 - Seeds arrived this week and put in water for 24hr then paper towel for 24-48 hours and I’ll update then. ✌️🏻
28/10/18 - everything’s looking good it took them 24hrs to break out the top of the coco, I’m watering 100ml a day at the moment and will be upping the rhizotonic in a day or two.
03/11/18 - Their looking healthy just seem to be abit smaller than usual at a week old but I’ve just gave them some a&b so hopefully that’s should kick start things, also will be upping the rhizo and a&b in a few days.
07/11/18 - Everything’s looking cool other than they look a day or two behind what they should be but other than that I’m very happy with them, I have upped the rhizo to 2ml per litre and the a&b to 1m per litre. 💦💦💧
Still looking abit smaller than usual but I think it could just be the genetics.
Did the first bit of LST of these girls tonight and hopefully they will respond well and start bushing out letting the dident branches catch up.
Everything’s look well except from a few marks on the leaves here and there, started to see some white Pistils so should be starting stretch soon ✌️🏻
Did some trimming on a few fan leaves and have continued to LST and leaf braiding, have had a few marks on the lower leaves which I think is a cal mag deficiency so I’ve upped it to 2ml/per litre.
Definitely start of flower now so they will be stretching this week, definitely the smallest plants I’ve done so far but it means hopefully hardly any popcorn buds/larf ✌️🏻
Started adding some boost, looking a lot healthier now.
Everything’s looking great with these two really happy with these perfect height for me, I’m defiantly going to be doing a lot of Mephisto strains in the near future. ✌️🏻
Still looking good, starting to frost up now also added an 4” air intake and hung it up to blow air across the canopy.
Hopefully will be starting flush next week seeing how it is, gonna do a two week flush, yes it is coco but I want a proper flush this time round so o can get that thick white ash we all know and love instead of some nasty dark gray/Black.
Started flush this week giving them four litres of ph’ed water everyday until the end of week ten, some leaves have started to yellow but hopefully that changes by then end of week ten, this plant it extremely frosty and looks really dense really happy with these two.
It stinks of berries, I’m not sure if I can smell grape but theirs a pungent berry smell whenever I have them out the tent.
It’s the night before harvest , unfortunately the light in my room was terrible so the pictures don’t do justice at the moment but I will have much better pictures tomorrow before I chop, so far they smell amazing, dosent look like it’s yielded a lot but it’s so damn frosty I don’t care (propbably yield a lot more of I dident flush for two weeks) but that’s my mistake that I will not make again.
Hands down the Most Frosty strain I’ve ever done, still got 3 seeds of this left that will definitely be getting used very soon, unfortunately I have it a two week flush instead of one so that must of impacted the yield but the smell and look of these are fantastic & im hopeing the taste is the same.
Make sure your water temps higher than normal. If you have old pipes and a boiler you can boil the kettle poor 1-2l of boiling to 8-10l tap water... 20-28c is perfect.
Then get yourself something to wisk it well with so there is lots of oxygen. If you want to get an air stone and leave it in your watering vessel for a few hours this helps heaps!. It also aids in dechlorination.
My girls are also a little behind for what they should be going by days. But it doesn’t faze me they’ll catch up soon👍🏼
@PharmaZ,yeah that’s what I’m hoping for most of the grow guides I see say they grow rather short, same with the Grapey Walter supposedly.
I’m also gonna get the proper wire this time instead of braiding multiple thin ones together with a drill.
See I thought it was just because it was my first time using the method that it was difficult, but I do remember one of Plant just dident like it at all it had 0 flexibility it felt like it would snap after bending it a few cm’s.
@No_Clout, do whatever you feel like experimenting man. I chose LST a while back after growing in confined spaces. Used to top but prefer the control of LST once you get that bend if you know how to work it then you’ll sure have satellites your Gorilla was fine just the strain doesn’t like it, I know this from growing it myself. Some love it some don’t. From what I’ve seen the sour stomper should produce some even sized colas from LST so let’s see👍🏼
@PharmaZ, I normally leave it on my radiator for 30-60 mins in two litre bottles and it normally does the trick, mine have started to catch up abit now thanks to the a&b. Their growing the same speed as my royal gorilla to be honest and I was thinking of Main-lining them but supposedly Mephisto grow rather small regardless so I’m just gonna do some leaf braiding and LST and hopefully get em looking like satellite’s.
@PharmaZ, everything’s going well other than abit of green perlite but I just scrapped that up and put abit of coco over it. They’ve started to speed up growthwise and looking like some fat indica leaves on sour stomper, the Grapey Walter seems to have more of a Sativa to it I guess as the blades seem a lot thinner.
My girl had marks too, upped the Calmag to 1ml/L all plants growing strong since changing to Canna. How’s the LST going you started to bend her over yet😂
@PharmaZ,I’ll up the calmag next feed mate, gonna clip 2-4 bottom leaves off and carry of bending them back and forth so every side branch can catch up. 👍🏻
Yes mate looks good perfect time to LST she looks like she’s loving it, just keep dragging those branches out, looks very healthy and happy unlike mine, good effort👍🏼
My small mutated sour stomper is actually doing better than my big girl, lol. Packing on the colas and super frost. You are gonna love it. Also, be prepared cause she smells like a longshoreman's armpit.
