FarmerFred A month or so later this plant exploded with growth. A bit of a trim was needed before flipping to flower. I probably should have done that a couple weeks earlier because this plant gets very bushy in flower and doesn’t grow very tall.

FarmerFred Trimmed the lower shaded areas and some crowded leaves and then flipped to flower. No issues so far with this grow. Again, should have flowered a couple weeks earlier

FarmerFred First 35 days of flower. Will slowly decrease the feedings for the next 4 weeks and then chop. Smells great with purple hues in the leaves and buds. Every seed has had different physical characteristics but they all seem to have a similar gassy smell.

FarmerFred Day 46 of flower. About 2 weeks left. Smells amazing, colours are coming in nicely. Reducing feed slightly as tips were burning. Home stretch now. Hoping for 200g harvest

FarmerFred Day 51 of flower. I forget how long I flowered last time but I’m going to push for 60 days. Pretty gnarly smelling and buds are too fat to stand up! Collas aren’t very tall but buds are packed

FarmerFred Day 58 of flower. Trichomes are mostly cloudy with maybe 10% clear and 5% amber. Going to let it go a few more days. Seeing lots of nanners so not too long. Starting to get the “gas” smell. Comment how much longer you would grow it out :)

FarmerFred Day 62 of flower so it got the chop! I have 2 more clones ready for flower so depending on how this turns out I will either extend or reduce my flower time. Either way I’m happy with the result of this grow.
Day 1 of drying: after 24 hours I went to inspect the buds and noticed a droplet of what appears to be a sap-like substance on one of the buds. From researching online and observing the substance I'm thinking this is Xylem sap also known as plant guttation. It's a small amber colored droplet of stick syrup like sap and even smelled like maple syrup/sugar. Never seen this but good to know it's a normal occurance.
Easy dank strain. Grows short and busy and requires a bit of canopy maintenance to reduce the larf. Doesn’t need much training after topping. Would recommend a scrog net

FarmerFred Best grow so far yield wise. Total dried harvest came to 268 grams from one plant. Pretty much no larf at all. Just put everything in jars and did a light trim, will trim more as time goes on but I’m happy with how it turned out. Dried for 7 days at about 50% RH and 65-67F. Will update after the mosture stabilizes in a couple days in the jars
Some fat chonky buds you got there, nice job!
What's the smell profile? You said they are "gnarly," does that mean like gas, chemical, garbage, feet, carcass, or something else entirely?
@@A_Stoned_Llama, thanks :) mostly skunky with hints of orange. It’s had an orange profile the whole flower period but now the skunk is really coming out. When I was tying up the buds last week I got hints of garlic as well. I’ve grown this seed 3 times and each time they’ve had slightly different undertones but overall strong skunk smells.
@ROSINPARK, Thanks for the tip. I have used Scrog in the past but found plant yo-yos work just fine and are easier to remove when harvest comes. If I had multiple plants or more tops I would agree and just use a net. My plan was to have 8 main tops but there wasn't a lot of stretch so the plant went bushy instead.
