I am excited to grow Hubbabubbasmelloscope. My first ever grow was White Rhino from Serious Seeds in 2006/2007 and she was fantastic. I am very keen to see what Mephisto does with the Serious Seeds genetics as a starting point.
I am reusing pot and substrate from mixed plant 4 (OG Khush I reckon) and I have topped the pot up with 10cm of living soil mix that I created using Lightmix and Bio Tabs products. I then add a cup of compost and worm grass from my own home composting systems.
I germinated her in a glass of neutralised tap water and 12 hours later her shell had cracked and I planted in her in the substrate and 2 days later she has fully emerged.
I pushed her over and buried her stem. I do it with all of my plants now as it really helps manage the height and has potential for creating more root zone.
Once weekly compost tea feed on Wednesday. Plain water all following feedings.
Compost tea fed on Wednesday. Plain water all following feedings.
As she grows I am continuing to bury her stem.
No concerns with her growth currently.
Feeding compost tea each Wednesday, I haven’t yet added Bio Pl as she isn’t flowering yet.
Some slight discolouration on leaves I might put in a root tab if it looks to be getting any worse. Hopefully just a little damage from overwatering.
Will remove the slightly damaged leaves and continue to train her as she grows.
Fed compost rsa without Bio Pk on Wednesday. plain water all following feedings.
Ckntinuing to train her around the pot using soft ties pierced through thw fabroc pot sides.
Removing the larger fan leaves as she grows as they take up a lot of space and block a lot of thw lateral branxhes.
Think i have been slightly overwatering her as I hadn't been hefting her pot and just probing the soil. Reduced volume of watering and she seems much happier.
She has really started to stretch this last week but no pre-flowers yet.
Fed compost tea on Wednesday without added Bio Pk.
As she has stretched so much I am continuing to tie her down to manage her height.
She has really exploded in size this week, as I have tied her branches down they are spilling out way over her pot, if they don’t right themselves I’ll have to rethink the training.
Compost tea without added Bio Pk fed on Wednesday. Plain water all other feedings.
Feeding compost tea on Wednesday as usual, with added Bio Pk.
Not had much time to tend to ladies and update diaries recently.
All seems to be going well with her though, no concerns.
She has really taken over her corner of the tent, going to be an excellent yield when the time comes.
Still struggling to make time to really give any plants the attention I would like.
Fed compost tea today later than usual on Thursday.
@Biotabs, they have really started to stretch and are starting to take over the tent. I’m positive she is going to absolutely explode once I add some BioTabs 😅
