- Grow is going well, she's still showing some signs of N deficiency although not too big of a concern. -Training is still going well every other day. -Shes drinking a lot in the summer heat.

Grow Questions

First, the lower leaves started turning yellow much quicker than usual during flower. I didn't change any Nute levels in my water because I wanted to see how things went. Then we had a few really hot days then this started happening to the leaves. more detail in week 17

hey there so basically what happened is that the temperature rising made the humidity rise which affected the Vapour Pressure Deficit (VPD) and this made the metabolism go too fast so plant sucked up more liquid from the ground than usual and basically you got nutrient burn as well as a magnesium problem because of the heat. Magnesium deficiency is easy to spot from the yellowing between the veins, the color of the stems (purpling) and the way the sides of the leaves burn. You for sure dont have pH problems and for sure no phosphorous deficiency lol. Since you're outdoors you have to work a bit different than normal and the name of the game is called "keep the root zone cool" , that means insulate the pot using a white cloth, water with colder water for example 19°C but not much less than that otherwise you could get a cold shock, and of course you should spray the plant three or four times during ten or twelve days with 3ml / L cal magic. Hope this helps my friend ! 🚀

@Felixcommi to be honest, I don't know if mainlining is the correct word for what I'm doing. technically its more of a screen of green. without the netting. I'm pretty much just winging it and applying a lot of different training techniques. my main goal is to try and keep the plant as short as possible due to stealth issues, this plant can grow really tall if you let it. an added bonus is that I'm getting a lot of tops, too many to count (upwards of 20 at this stage).

I grew her too this year, very nice resiliant and grateful plant with great genetics. Feel free to look into the Diary Medical Hempgarden

The heat gets its tribute, Either the root got to hot , or its like i mentioned ..... you came into a underwaterig due to the Heat. Try to protect your plant of the heat, give her chilled roots... as you see in the link https://www.growweedeasy.com/prevent-cannabis-heat-stress-outdoors The plant tries on temperatures above 28 degree just to survivie, there is no big growth I hope the tips for chilling the roots help you

I can’t wait til the weather in my corner of the world ceases to be minus 30 Celsius, so that I can emulate this grow (with credit). This is such a fascinating training system. Am I right to observe that the “mainline” uses all the growth tips on a mainlined stem, by making the stem flush against the stick, thereby making all the growth tips reach up evenly? And are you topping at all the nodes that are flush on the stem? How many main colas does this aim for?

Looking goood. And for outdoors airpots are tricky and best time used with a watering system. It was a good choice to change the pot.It keeps the water better inside. Iam using smartpots( fabiricpots) for outside, they do the " aircut on the roots too, and keep the water very well inside
