I’m running multiple 1000w Bestva and have the lights now at 32” because of slightly burnt tips. Have the tips burnt because the light intensity is too much?

There's various reasons as to why your plant tips may have burned this early . One of the reasons is that you are using nutrients they might be strong still , i would dilute it even more if I were you 1/4 strength . The other things could be potential light burn 1000w output is a lot of your young seedlings , I would find a way to reduce it to 400 watt at the very most for about a week or 2 then kick it back into 1000w . Theres a few reasons for this a) the plant can only absorb so much photon's so even tho your running 1000watts of light the plant isn't able to use 1000w worth of light b) the light is very intense for a young seedling so you could cause light burns if your not careful . So if your able too dim your lights down to 400w or a little below that and bring it up over time . Reduce the amount of nutrients fed as they are very very young and adjust the doses accordingly. Remember that less is more when they are first starting off .

Wondering if I have time for another feed considering the soil only dries up after 4-5 days and to factor in sufficient time for how many flushes with water and what type of water ?

Hey there @CCgrow! You can easily give a feed right now with a dry time of 4-5 days like you mentioned. A Final flush of only 1 week is needed! To do a flush simply water the plant like normal with pure PHed water and its that easy! If you are worried about time then you can get a flushing additive that helps break down the nutrient deposits stuck in the soil to speed up the flush even more! But if not you can feed your plant normally until 1 week before harvest then flush it by just feeding plain water until chop time. Your grow is looking solid CCgrow best of luck finishing it out. Feel free to ask any more questions you may have 😎

hey there, the time the soil takes to dry doesn t really matter for your flush, but if your plant is drinking a bit less than usual it basically could mean now would be a good time to start the flush. In soil you want to aim for two weeks of plain water three weeks max. Will get you that smooth smoke. as a bonus what you can do is try to time your chop based on your humidity , <40 chop the next day 40-60 give it two three days after the last watering 60+ three days or more. This will help during the drying and eventually the cure, so you can get that top shelf. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Congrats! Nice grow.. Did you use the BESTVA 1000w since they poped up from soil? What distance during Seedlings and early veg? Thank you...

@Griszo, I did during this grow but not the ones I'm currently running although right now during flowering I do use 3 - 1000w lights in a 3 x 3 tent and 1 x 1000w in a 2 x 2. For seedling and early Veg I'd recommend to keep the light at 36'' and your plant will work it way towards the light. I prefer to adjust the light height 2-3 times a week and closely monitor leaf burn which I've yet to experience with these lights even at 14". I'd recommend until at least week 3 - 4 to keep the light at 24 + " they do not require as much Par in the early stage hence why I would the Vispaspectra 450W because it has the Veg-Bloom switch. The reason why I chose these lights (BestVa) was for their efficiency during the flowering stage as the light has a good balance of red light and is full spectrum.

BUt the most common mistakes of beginner are to much/ to close to the Light, to much nutes, to much water. You are in good Company, Me and many other Growers did that too, ok you have an 450 watt led too only use that until they are big enough,
