Amsterdam genetics in SoCal

I loved that even after a year of not doing anything with the seeds the single first seed I tried to germinate (2 paper towels, splash of mineral water and cover w darkness) worked so quickly. 24 hours and I saw the tap root. It was tiny but in my enthusiasm I planted it in a solo cup with moist soil. I covered it ever so slightly and set it outside. I sprayed a couple sprays of water every 6 hours because it dried out so quickly even in October. The tempetures are much more bareable than in summer thats for sure. I don't expect anything to survive 120 F days.

This week went by fast! my baby went from seed to sprout and I'm really proud of her (and myself even though i didn't do much) I was worried since one of the two round leaves never fully developed. Now that the regular leaves are bigger that worry has been taken away. Looks like another sunny week here in SoCal so I'm glad altogether.

Strong winds and a 5 hour drive was included in this weeks' challenges. But she survived. I feel like she is growing really really slow. I'm considering a fertilizer.

Ash from the devastating fires 10 miles away makes me concerned for my plants growth. I wish I could have done something but I don't want to deny my plant of sunlight, especially if it's already growing slowly. This autoflower is supposed to flower in 63 days indoors and it's been 4 weeks now...
