Paper towel germ. Quick to pop up after transfer to soil. However, seedling was pretty dry and helmet was still firmly attached.
Stuck her back down in the soil and watered well.
Popped up again a few days later. This time with leaves. Looks a bit stunted as a result but will hopefully gain some vigor soon. One of the cotyledons looks a little bleached. Moved it away from the Viparspectra which is currently serving the Mango Sky in the latter stages of full bloom.
Weak root system. Plant kind of just fell over and trained itself.
Container has a fair amount of water weight despite being dry on top. Haven’t watered in several days hoping it’ll stretch the roots a bit.
Otherwise, it’s looking healthy.
FIM’d the top and pinched the suckers on the lower nodes. First time trying FIM. It doesn’t really look like it did anything other than square off the leaves on that node. Subsequent nodes seem to be growing out normally. Might be too soon to tell.
Took her outside yesterday for some fresh air.
I don’t think this plant is going to get very big.
Looking healthy, especially after spending several hours outside.
I think I failed at my FIM attempt.
I don’t see where it changed the growth pattern.
Perhaps I didn’t chop down far enough?
Set outside for a few hours of late afternoon sunlight then move back into tent in the evenings. Responding well to natural light and breezy conditions. Nights have still been a little too chilly to leave it outside.
No nutes as of yet.
Started some LST this week.
Not in love with this plant. Bargain seed not worth the space.
Definitely a runt that should be culled. I’ll see it through.
Suited for a very small growing space.
Trimmed a bunch of cruddy looking leaves. Seems a little happier but this plant never really stretched and doesn’t seem like it’s going to. The few blooms it does have are looking pretty tight.
Chopped earlier than I wanted. There was enough amber to warrant it but I started having concerns about mites. I didn’t see any evidence of webs or a major infestation but the white speckling on some of the leaves suggested something had been munching. It’s too late to treat so chopping it down was the best option. Vacuumed and wiped the tent down with disinfectant. Sprayed the neighboring plant throughly with spinosad as a preventative measure. I don’t see any evidence of mites on that plant but I don’t want to take any chances.
