Trying a DIY watering system. I will have to leave her alone for 4 days soon.
Day 8 - I changed to a bigger can for the watering system, 1.5 Litre. I am leaving her alone for 4 days now. Hopefully she will survive:-)
Day 12 - I just came home and she looks fine. The watering system worked perfect. I am just a little worried that she i "week" I sprayed her with water and that little amount of drops on her to lean quite much to the side. Maybe I will need to arrange som sort of support.
Day 13 - I gave her a supporting stick, seams to work fine:-)
day 14 -I haven't gave her water since day 12. The soil is still wet. I will wait a few more days, let the soil dry out a little more.
Day 15 The soil is stil a bit to humid. Will wait with giving her water 1 or 2 days more.
Day 16 Today I am going to install a USB fan to increase air circulation. The soil is still to wet so I placed a heater fan close to the air intake. The temperature is now 26 C
Day 18 Gave her water today after 5 days without water and letting the soil dry out. Also removed the support stick as she does not need it anymore. I'm a little concerned about the lighter spots on the lower leafs. Hopefully it's signs of overwatering. Let's see in a few days if the show up on the newer leafs as well. Then I do need to do something. Now I will be away for 2 days.
Day 20 She is getting bigger. I am a little concerned about the yellow tips on the lower leafs...
Day 21 No sign of yellow on the new leafs, good!
Day 22 It is difficult to get the right Ph level. I usually prepare 1,5 L och water with nutrients first. Then using Ph Down until I get the right level. After 2-3 days, when I am using the same mixed water, the Ph level is 7-7.5. Maybe it's normal that the level rises?
Day 24 All good. She is now 22 cm high
Day 25 Firstly with LST. Bending the main stem down to the left. Will bend more tomorrow and possibly find a thicker plant wire. Gave her 0.5 litre water
Day 26 Bending her more today. Places a wooden stick diagonally in the tent and tied her down with small clamps. I think I started a little to late with the LST. Hopefully the branches on the other side of the bend will grow bigger:-)
Day 27 Gave her 0,4 L water today. The LST looks good so far. Did some defoliating, removed 4-5 big leaves. There are 2-3 big leaves left. I am not sure if I dare to remove them also.
Day 29 Cut away to more leaves. Not sure if the LST was a good thing... I hope she will rise and stretch upwards soon. Took som closeup photos of the female pistils :-) Looks beautiful and promising :-)
Day 31 All good! Giving her 0,5 L water every second day.
Day 35 Growing fast, removing some fan leaves. No sign of flowering yet...
Day 37 She is starting to flower, I think... Small pistills growing on several branches. Changed the light to red.
Day 39 It really looks like the flowers is starting to open up now :-) It is difficult to get the colours right on the photos, after I changed to red lamp. Will try a different setting on the camera next time.
Day 42 She is growing fast now.
Day 43 All looking good
Day 46 She is growing fast, lots of pistills all over her.
Day 48 Played with the macro tube on the camera. Lots of buds forming now!
Day 50 Lots of buds forming (slowly). She is looking healthy, drinking more and more water. I will leave her alone 3-4 days now. Giving her some extra water just before I leave.
Day 53 She was dry when I came home, but not to dry. Gave her 1.3 liter och water. On the last photo there are som orange pistills showing:-)
Day 56. She is starting to slow down in growing higher. I am a little concerned about getting her ready for harvest in time. She need to be ready for harvest in 4 weeks from now, after that I am away from home with nobody to take care of her. Let's see how it goes.
Day 58 All well
Day 60 Cut some of the leaves shadowing the other parts of her today.
Day 63 There are more orange pistils now. She is starting to smell more :-)
Day 66 Still just some orange pistills. Will start looking at the trichomes with my scope soon. Its difficult to control the humidity. It varying from 50% at nights to 66% daytime.
Day 68 The trichomes are still clear.
Day 69 Made som photos with the Carson Pocket Microscope and my phone. No sign of cloudy trichomes yet. Its fun to play around with the photos.
Day 72. More photos with the microscope. Beautiful small world! Still clear trichomes.
Day 74 Difficult to see if she is ready to harvest. In the photos taken through the microscope the trichomes look clear but in the photos through the macro lens they look more cloudy.
Day 76 Starting to see some amber trichomes, but still some of them are clear.

those trichomes are transparent and I see many new slim new flowers with white pistils... I´d wait 2 weeks more until more than 50% trichomes are cloudy or milky even 5% amber, 80-90% brown pistils and of course check the overall production of new flowers
Day 80 No there are more amber trichomes and most of the rest are cloudy! A couple of days ago I changed the light schedule to speed up the process.
Day 81 I need to cut her down today. In a week I am going away and a can't leave her to be seen by the person taking care of watering the other flowers at home;-)
As a first time grower I don't know what to expect. I hade hoped for her to be ready after 70 day but it took 81 days. Maybe I should have waited a few days more but that was not possible due to practical reasons.
Day 81 I was surprised how long time (4-5 hours) it took to trim the buds and the whole apartment was smelling a lot when everything was done.
Wet weight of the buds was 123 gram, 55 gram big leaves and 22 gram of smaller buds and small sugar leaves. Now everything is hanging to dry in the tent.
Hopefully I will be able to test the potency soon:-)
I think I dried her to much, when I put the buds in the jar it was only 43% hydration. The dry weight was 22 g.
Next time I will start earlier so I have more time before the summer. I will also start LST a little earlier.
