Hello helloooo So, this has been a watch and learn week. Tricomes look cristal, guess they have another week and a half maybe, to go. Eventhough their first day was the same day, one is more mature than the other. Going to go back to giving them names "B" (the one not topped) "S" (the one topped) B's buds are bigger and seem to be more compact. S's buds have a lot more dust. B looks more mature, judging by the buds Today I gave the 2nd dosage of biobizz cal/mag to S. On the days that followed the first dosage, the buds matured really fast, I would say They are veeeeeeryyy sticky and smell sweet and fresh, lemon like (a bit) Day 53 gave them their last feed. From now on, I'll only be giving them ph'ed water. I'll be on a small holiday for 5 days, got some1 I trust to water them. When I get back I'll be flushing them (it will be my first time, wish me luck!!! 🀞🏼) Day 54 they are just gorgeous. B has such nice buds... they smell really good, seem to be compact, resinous and full of terpenes (not the strain with the most, but still, I'm impressed) I'm loving the Quick One's journey. They've suffered quite a "lot" from my ignorance, being my first grow. YET... I think it will be a nice harvest. Cant wait to taste these beautiful flowers 😍 Day 55 Last day of week 8 Aaaaaaaaah, I am loving this They smellll soooo niiiice Buds are geting fat and very good looking, as you can see... My brother watered the plants today, with just ph'd water, 9 weeks are going to be true, I guess πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

Looks good so far. Every plant is different even if the same strain. This variable is caused by different factors such as stress, variances in phenotype, soil ph, quality of drainage, etc. I water based upon need not schedule. Roots need plenty of oxygen to breathe, and without it you might see drops in yields, quality and risk diseases. You only need to add enough to get the soil moist. I've found that 2L per 5 gal of soil is a pretty solid starting point to get that feel on how thirsty each girl is. Then it's easily adjusted from there to optimal levels. Only water when the soil dries out. To test, poke a finger about an inch into the soil. Feel moist? If yes, wait to water/feed. Even easier if you use fabric pots. Then all you have to do is feel the outside bottom of the bases. Also, I've never grown autos before, but I do know that the dark period is where plants love to stretch and grow, especially during the first 2-4 weeks of flower... by dropping it completely, that might not be the best for overall plant health and production. I hear 18/6 is about perfect for most autos. Maybe someone with experience can correct me if I'm wrong. As far as defoliation... you'll find many different theories and techniques. Me personally, I defoliate slowly during veg, to reduce stress and shock. I follow the "look up through the canopy rule". If you can see light looking up through the bottom, that means those beams are wasted. Fan leaves are like solar panels for the plant. The more you have the more energy the plant produces. I only remove leaves I can't tuck or move to expose bud sites. Hope this information helps. #1 noob mistake is over watering. It's still early, let the heavy pot dry out. Your doing good, paying attention, making observations and asking the right questions. Plus your enthusiasm is top notch πŸ‘Œ. Good luck bro.

@@CRANKSTER_420, damn... thanks a lot for the observations and advices... I'm learning step by step so its easy to miss something... I started with 20/4 regarding the light hours, but since week 5 (i guess) i changed it to 24/0 and I think its going ok (I have no reference, but the plants didnt show any sign of stress anything). To be honest I was a bit sad no1 was realy paying attention to my diary, you made my day! Hope this makes you feel nice too πŸ˜‰ Due to this (and a bit of over working days/weeks) I havent been able to post, you got me excited again to share, thanks!! The girls are now in a much more advanced state, I'll be posting some photos and a bit of info now. If I have time, I will provide more info during the next days. Thanks again m8! This is my first grow, and Ive always dreamed of having my own baby cannas. I am loving everything, even the bad moments! Have a nice one!! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
