Started adding 0.25mL of nutrients every 2 days. In between days plain water. Before ending the week, I removed the two largest fan leafs from the plant to expose the first brancing nodes. The bottom nodes were also trained outwards. Lastly, resulting branches after topping were trained outwards and twisted 45 degrees so not to cover bottom branches.

On 4/5/19, I changed the lights to 12/12 and started feeding the plants 3:2:2 blend of fox farms nutrient trio in pH H2O. One plant may be male or hermi, which is disappointing because these are femenized seeds from a reputable seed bank (MSNL). It's too early to tell but I'll monitor (on on the right of the tent). I also added SOLO cups of MOOSE FROOT (Orange Blossom (f) x Guava Kush (m)) seeds (8 so far?) to determine sex ratio of my harvested seeds.

BBC girls are booming fast with long white pistols! Some of the longest pistols I've seen on a plant. BBC L was train perfectly with the center growing as fast as the main colas on the outside. BBC R, though trained similarly, has a much shorter center. The height ratio of this plant is 30cm trained stems, 18cm center. I trained the maine two stems more to expose center further. Guava Kush (2L fabric pot) is the best flowering plant in the tent. Only female in a bag full of dicks and she's a killer! Plant has most stretch and drinks so much I tend to water her extra on skip days. Orange Blossom (f3 clone) has no stop in sight. All flower. Bright white crown and low to the ground. 10cm tall!

Does anyone use Fox Farms Nutrient Trio (Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom)? I'm about to start the late stages of flowering (fattening buds). What nutrient blend do you use? Do you supplement any additives? I've tried Cha-Ching (Fox Farms)? Anyone else?
Solved
Buds. Not fattening

Google fox farm trio feeding chart. Most companies that sell nutrients will give you a week to week feeding schedule using there products. Hope this helps and happy growing!

Things are weird this week. Mostly the weaterh outside is very unpredictable. Morning clouds with sun here and there. THings are more humid in the tent than id like. Anyways, girls stretched super well this week EXCEPT BBC L which looks like is suffering from some nitrogen toxicity. I need to dry out the soil and flush it with plain h2o tomorrow

This week went well! Buds are generally fattening for all 3 plants in the tent. BBC R has nutrient burn, leaves turning yellow on the edges and slightly curling at the tips. I watered BBC R with pHed H2O for two consecutive days. BBC L def has bigger buds than BBC R, may only keep clones from BBC L. Guava Kush fem is not as bushy as BBC but has big dome-like buds. BBC has pointy buds so far I still have Orange Blossom blossoming outside the tent, which is doing wonders to it! It's color it amazing and the buds are getting frosty!

Lots to say about this week. All around, BIG flowers are forming for all 3 plants. The stretch is def over and it's all fattening time. BBC L - Biggest plant over all. A bit of nitrogen toxicity but managable (yellowing leaves, spotting) but not pests. Flowers are getting heavy so I may need to tie the colas up to the ceiling. BBC R - Plant went through a flush this week and an outside dry (arid and hot in southern california). I gave it its first taste of nutrients after one week. The leaves are coming back to life (less clawing) and new leaves have no discoloration or wilting. Guava Kush - Great little plant (2L fabric pot) with dense flowers, stacking very well, probably best stacked plant in the tent but not as fat as BBC L. I gave her most nutrients of the week she is very thirsy. Healthiest of the bunch, maybe more suited to my climate? Or just hardier, I'm def going to keep her clone.

Everything is doing just great! BBC L Huge flowers, bulbous and top heavy will most likely need to tie up from falling when they fatten BBC R More stacked flowers, pointed "pyrimid" peaks. This one is more mature b/c it was stressed for a sec from N-toxicity. all better now Guava Kush Shaggy, frosty flower. Fruity aroma. Needs fattening!

Week 13 from seed, week 9 of flowering. I took off most of the fan leaves from BBC L and BBC R and Guava Kush, All the flowers have to do it fill in! Was this the right idea? Idk, I'll see. I gave nutrients to the girls for the last time. Only pHed H2O from now on (2-3 more weeks) until harvest.

How long does a late flowering plant (like mine) to fade it's leaves when only fed water? 2 weeks? Do I need to wait for a fad?

Hi! I like to flush for 7-14 days it depends on a strain if it fades or not. Harvest time should be checked from tricomes.. more amber ones is more couch lock effect happy growing hope this helps somehow! 👍

@Andrewmarks flushing 2 weeks before harvest is overkill and possibly robbing yourself of final yield 3 or 4 days is all you need to flush the salts from within the growing medium. cannabis plants traditionally pack on the most of their final bulk in the last weeks before harvest I don't understand why some growers would deliberately starve their plants during this time? It is counterproductive. I know you have already harvested this plant but thought I would put my 2cents worth in for your next grow Good luck Mate

Hey there Andrez Marks ! Some genetics fade, others don't, some phenotypes fade , others don't. Senescence is a beautiful sight, but if your plant doesnt do it, it's not necessarily your fault at all. For sure lack of nutrients makes a plant wilt , but that's not senescence and surely a wilting plant is a bad sign. Two good things can happen when you flush : your plant stays healthy and fades, or your plants stays healthy and doesnt fade. The bad thing that can happen is that your plant is not ready to be flushed and starts to get deficiencies right before the chop. The point is if you time it correctly the senescence should happen shortly after the start of a long three week plain water watering (you dont need to flush flush in soil, just water with plain water for three weeks) . Hope this helps ! 🚀

This week starts the flush!!!! Only pHed water every 3 days for about 2 weeks. I'm about 1.5 weeks in and ready to harvest this weekend. Harvest pics next week. BBC R - Nice trichomes, some amber ones. Some leaves are dying off. Great smell! Pungent like cheese but with fruity blueberry. BBC L - Bushier but bigger buds here. Def showing the Big Bud genetics more than her sister BBC R. Guava Kush - showing some real frost and smelling very fruity. It def could use a bulking up

I may have waiting too long to harvest, but these buds kept developing! I am happy with waiting longer. The buds were covered with orange hairs (100%) when harvested but I did not seem to give the smoke an "in-da-couch" feel. Harvested when trichromes turned orange so seemed right. I highly recommend this strain, it's a unique blend and has a great smell appeal
