Happy Easter 2024 Everyone! Welcome to my cultivation diary, where I'll be sharing my journey as I navigate the world of growing outdoors. I'm excited to document my progress and learn from others along the way. Your feedback and advice are greatly appreciated as I embark on this endeavor. Here's a quick rundown of where I'm at: I have clones of Godfather OG and Honey Cream from seeds that are already showing promise. Additionally, I've encountered some challenges with germinating Hella Jelly seeds, but with perseverance, the help and advice of a generous vendor, I've managed to get some to sprout. I've also germinated my final two GG#4 Fast Vers. from last year with success. All seeds start in Happy Frog. For my soil mix - once outdoors - I'm planning to use a blend of loam, sand, and seafood compost, enriched with earthworms, castings, mushroom spores and other microbial life for added fertility. Come June, I'll be transferring my plants into large pots outdoors, allowing them to thrive under the open sky. (I'm using coarse sand for aeration rather than perlite/vermiculite as sand will not float to the top, or degrade over time. I'm looking to re-amend my soil every year so I'm not having to buy and discard soil yearly) As for equipment, I'm utilizing a small seedling light from Amazon to provide the necessary spectrum for healthy growth during this beginning stage. Clonex rooting gel and peat pellet cubes are aiding in the propagation of my clones. indoors before their eventual transplant outdoors. Once established, I'll have them in my climate-controlled closet w/ 2 1000-watt equivalent lights. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of Durban Poison seeds to further diversify my grow and experiment with crossbreeding - I will definately be crossing the Poison w/ the Jelly...."Poisoned Jelly"...sounds gassy right?1? Moving forward, I'm committed to an organic approach and welcome suggestions on nutrient choices for large soil setups in big pots that are budget friendly. Stay tuned for updates and photos as I progress through this exciting journey. Together, let's cultivate a thriving garden and share in the joys of growing cannabis
