Ruediger Unfortunately, my tent isn't here yet, so I'm still improvising with the germination. Luckily, 3 out of 3 hits 😜 We still had the light left over from houseplants. I spray about 2 times a day with stale tap water on the inside of the cup.

Ruediger Today the ladies moved into the tent. I hope they survive their first night in the new environment. Unfortunately, the temperatures are quite low in this room. I’ll try to track the values starting tomorrow. On day 4, the little ones moved into the tent. Day 6 - I watered 20ml today. I turned the light up to 50% since the little ones are starting to stretch. Installed a humidifier and set it to 60%. I guess tomorrow the little ones will go into their next pot. Day 7 - Today they moved into 2.6L pots and got their name tags. Just installed a webcam too. Day 9 - The ladies are looking quite happy. Today, a bit late, I added the mycorrhizal fungi under the plants again. I watered them with 400ml of water today.

Ruediger Day 12 - wanted to water today, but the soil was still moist. So I'm waiting another 1-2 days. The little ones are still a bit thin at the bottom, I supported them with some wire. At least I took some new photos 😜 Day 14 - with my Pineapple Express, I started Low Stress today so she can get back to the same level as the others. Since the soil was dry today, they got something today. But just 150ml each. Day 17 - the ladies are doing great, I just beautified the Low Stress today and rearranged a bit in the tent.

Ruediger Tag 20 - the ladies are doing well 😊 I watered them with 200ml today. Tomorrow I will probably top them, I also ordered Clonex and will try to take cuttings from the topping. I will wait a few more days to repot until the little ones have rooted well. Tag 21 - Today I topped my babies. I hope they survive the topping. I'm trying to take new cuttings from the tops, they might go into the garden. (If they turn out okay) 😅 Tag 23 - the ladies have handled the topping well. I have now transplanted them into 5-gallon or 17l fabric pots. The cloning attempts were unfortunately just an attempt, it failed 😅

Ruediger Day 27 - The ladies are doing well, I don't think they're growing as fast as they could. But it will definitely get better with the next grows. Today I tied up the shoots a bit and watered about 1.3L. Day 31 - Today I just tied up the shoots a bit. And realigned the webcam.

Ruediger Tag 34 - The little ones are thriving beautifully 😁 I'm not sure how much longer I should keep them in the vegetative phase, I'm worried that the tent will be full soon 😅 I adjusted the shoots again today to make them grow as evenly as possible. And I watered about 1.5 liters today. Tag 35 - I'm cutting their light down by 2 hours every day to slowly prepare them for flowering, so starting today they're getting 16/8.

Ruediger Day 38 - I adjusted the lamp 4 days ago. Today I defoliated a bit, but just leaves without light exposure and over the spots where the buds are forming. I also bent some branches and watered about 1L. I haven't fertilized yet, planning to do that in about 2 weeks. Day 40 - the first hairs are coming Day 44 - I installed the SCROG net today and watered about 1.5L. I also fertilized with about 50g of Green House BioBloom per plant and defoliated. I would have preferred to wait a bit longer, but unfortunately, I'm almost 2 weeks on vacation now and have to leave the ladies alone 😢 Luckily, I have a colleague who will water for me.

Ruediger Tag 46 - so tomorrow we’re going on vacation, I think I’ve prepared the ladies well. They’re slowly starting to show real signs of flowering. Tag 49 - my colleague watered for me about 1.2 liters.

Ruediger Tag 56 - my ladies have survived the vacation well 😁 Today I also removed all the annoying big leaves, as well as all the leaves that aren't getting light, the shoots, and flower sites that won't amount to anything.

Ruediger Day 60 - Today I watered again, about 1.5 liters. I think the plants look pretty good, and the first hairs are starting to change color. Day 64 - Today they got water. I noticed that they are getting yellow leaves at the bottom; I'm assuming that the nutrients are being drawn out and autumn is beginning.

Ruediger Tag 69 - today there was about 1.3 liters of water I also lightly defoliated again. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get the humidity under control for a few days now. At night around 84% and during the day 76% However, with the storms we've had lately, it's no wonder. I'm a bit worried because of the yellow leaves. But I'm actually sure it's due to the poor environmental conditions. Still, I gave them another spoonful of fertilizer, about 4g. Tag 72 - the girls are doing well and have made it through the week. I'm now back in a humidity range of 70-74%, unfortunately still too high, but I hope to get it down further. The Blue Sunset Sebert is starting to purple. Tag 73 - luckily, the humidity is back down to 55%.

Ruediger Tag 75 - Unfortunately, I'm sick and I can't be with my ladies. (They're at a colleague's place) He also took over the watering for me. About 1.3l Tag 79 - I'm fit again and my ladies are doing well. Watered 1.5l again. The humidity is still bothering me a lot. During the day it's 59-60% and at night 70-72%.

Ruediger Tag 89 - probably the last time watering 1.2l today. The trichomes are starting to look nicely milky. Now it's time to check regularly and monitor. Unfortunately, the humidity is still around 65%.

Ruediger Tag 96 - checking every day now, unfortunately they still need a little more time. The colors in the tent are just beautiful ❤️ I'm curious to see how it looks tomorrow 😁 The dehumidifier is now at 70% at night and 50% during the day. I have a bigger dehumidifier in the room since today. Hope it can keep it at 55%. I've decided to try Flo's cut flower technique for the final phase. The condition is that it works with the humidity. Tag 98 - watered another 1.5L, it's taking longer than expected. Tag 100 - unfortunately still not done, you can tell I'm "not impatient at all" 😪

Looks really awesome, especially for the first time 💪😲💪 But do yourself (and your buds 😁) a favor and get a decent dehumidifier in the long run. Once something has started to mold, it won't just ruin your day 😟. Happy growing and keep it up 👍

@420Bubatz, thank you so much, I'm really proud of the first run 😁 I just hope nothing goes wrong 🙏🏼 A proper dehumidifier is at the top of the bucket list

Hi. I have to ask ... do I still need to buy a magnifying glass or something like that? Is that in the pictures you showed of your trichomes ... a 30x magnification? And what exactly do you use to take the pictures?
Ruediger
Ruediger commented2y ago
@allways_beginner, I use a "4K WiFi microscope" from Amazon with a 50-1000x magnification. But it's an extremely shaky affair and takes practice. The best way is to make a video and then screenshot sharp images from it.

Damn, that gives so much hope to others doing this for the first time to see results like that :D Very nice!
