I've decided to grow those 2 strains due to their very long flowering time and consequently my expectations from the results.
This is my first experience with photo period strains, all previous plants were autoflowers. Results were good but I always wanted to grow a regular plant.
I am starting this diary when the cycle is almost over, however later is better then never!
Both plants are watered by regular PH 6-6.5 water in order to flush the nutrients remaining in soil.
The leaves are yellowing more and more but the buds seem to be in good condition,
Plants are drinking less water comparing to the veg/early flowering period, around 3 liters per plant every 3 days
1024 seems pretty close to harvest, but 2046 is showing no signals of amber trichomes. Looking at the them every 3 days in order to determine harvest window and looking forward to the H-day 😁
After reviewing both plants under 60-120 microscope (I've recently received the awesome carson microbrite plus 60x-120x microscope) it was decided to harvest both plants on 17 Nov after almost 100 days of flowering,
I can tell for sure that i would have harvest 2046 much earlier unless this microscope which actually showed me that the trichomes were still clear whereas the buds looked pretty ready for harvest. My conclusion is that a magnifying unit is absolutely necessary if you start growing and you want to harvest at the right moment.
The SCROG net was cut using scissors in order to be able to remove the plants. After cutting it, plants became taller and so much more beautiful. So many buds which i havent' noticed before :) The first pic was taken 2 days before all the rest so it does not show the new picture.
Last photoshoot was arranged after lights went off. I like to keep my plants in 48 hours of darkness before harvesting them hoping to give them the final push and stress them a bit with the darkness and low temperature.
