Outdoor season is here 2024 and we have the new tangerine band from exotic seeds. This girl popped up just a little over 48hr but once she was up she is looking healthy and has a lovely colour. On the description it’s saying late October but we can still see what she does as this year is a tester to see what strains will put up with our climate.
She will spend around 2 weeks indoor then will be potted up and placed in greenhouse till ready to in the ground at the spot.

So week 1 is now over for this girl, she is looking really strong nice colour too. Gonna pot up this week into new soil, great think about these pots you don’t need to disturb the roots just simply place into your next container. Keep misting every couple hours now not in some. So this week I just potted her up in some fresh soil, she’s looking bang on now. Little underwatered at start of week but now she’s loving it. Will give another week or 2 indoor before transferring to greenhouse.

Another week gone for this girl, I have now moved into the green house due to my indoor light stopping working. She is looking very healthy and happy, will put out for few hours in day when the sun is out but over the night back into the greenhouse.

Another week gone for these plants, there looking really well, just gave water so far as the soil has feed in it. Had a few sunny days this week so placed out of greenhouse for few hours in day and all to help strengthen the stem up. Still got few bits to sort at spot but shouldn’t be long and they will be down.

Another week gone for both these girls, both looking really happy and healthy. Both has stretched abit but I put that down to being in greenhouse , once they go in ground at spot they will start to fill out with some training. Soil enough to feed these until they go out maybe next week.

Another week for these plants, starting to look hungry have abit of grow. They filling the pots now but will hold off till they go in ground. Topped the band this week with has shop up since last week. Both really heathy and happy, once in ground they will shoot up and will then train.

These 2 plants are finally out into the wild and in the ground. I topped the band around 2 weeks ago I will topped the other in around a week let her take to the ground first. Gave them a good water had 2 nice days of sun hopefully it keeps up. I’ve put wire round them and a line of copper tape, to hopefully stop the slugs. We will see what happens.

Both these plants have been doing well since they’ve been in the ground, not been attacked really as of yet by the slugs unlike few autos I’ve got in the same place. put pics of 2 autos 1 has been attacked fair bit no real side beaches because of the slugs where as the other is thriving and hasn’t been touched at all really. Will give all plants a good feed this week. Hoping the weather comes out good, fingers crossed.

These plants are holding up, I’ve a few plants in this spot that has been devoured by slugs, I’m really hoping they keep of these 2 girls. I have a good feed with grow this week. The weather has been constant cloudy or rain these past few weeks, weather showing few sunny days this week, fingers crossed they need it.

Absolutely gutted about these plants we’ve had a week of 20+ days and they have been obliterated by the slugs. Tried copper tape pellets alsorts of home remedy’s but this year nothing is shifting them! If I can find another spot in next few weeks I will set more of but with the other plants and spots I’ve to water and maintain maybe tough this year. Really thought that was the spot, has sun all through the day just the massive slug problem.
So that’s it for this diary, I hope your having a better season to me this year gutted is all I can say.
