I sowed the seeds on Friday evening indoors directly into the substrate. By Tuesday evening, part of the stem was already visible on the surface. Finally, on Wednesday, it happened. One could practically observe the seedling slowly stretching out of the soil and opening its cotyledons.

As previously mentioned, my plan is to cultivate the plants outdoors once they are sufficiently robust and the climatic conditions are suitable. However, until that time comes, the plants will simply be raised on the windowsill without any additional grow lights. So far, it appears that the plants have stretched a bit in search of light, but overall, it can be said that they are developing adequately nonetheless. The pictures show the course of development of one of the three plants during this week. Please excuse, that the pictures were taken during nighttime

In consequence of the rising temperatures, the plants got some time to spend outside on the terrace. The weather is still very changeable, so on some days the plants have to stay inside. Its interesting to note, that the different plants tend to form slightly different phenotypes.

The weather this week was really bad. The sun was only visible on some days and just for just some hours. Aditionally to that, the temps at night were pretty low, so I always put the plants inside at night. Its worthy to note, that all plants developed a very weak but pleasant fruity lemon aroma.

For the period of nearly a week, the weather was literally freezing cold. At night we got temperatures of -3 degree celsius and during the day we got 8 degree celsius at best. My grow was nearly ruined, as I left my plants outside while I wasn't at home for one day. On the next morning the plants showed signs of extreme sunburn, which must be caused by the extremly low temperatures, that messed up the plants function to handle direct sunlight. The plants are now back on the windowsill to regenerate.

As the plants could regenerate a little bit, their pots got a little bit small for my liking, so on 1st of may, I decided to transplant them into their final growing spot in the garden. My worries about that step are relatively small as there is no more frost expected. They are sitting now in gardensoil, which has been mixed with some compost and organic fertilizers. On top i put a mulchlayer to keep the soil from drying out on hot days later this year. Despite everything, very bad poor weather is expected for the coming weeks. Time will tell how the plants like their new home.

After seven days of rain and cool nights with down to four degress celsius, for once the plants can enjoy some mild sunny hours. Two of the plants, plant one and plant three, actually developed female preflowers, which is good to be sure about. Plant two on the other hand shows no signs of preflowering.

This week begins with a poor weatherforecast. But thanks to the good weather last Week, the plants got the chance to catch up a little bit in heigth, from 30 to 60 centimeters over the course of 9 days. Plant 1 and 3 are still preflowering, but because of the fact its May and the days are still getting longer, they should go back vegi soon. Edit 27.05.24: As mentioned earlier, the weatherforecast was really poor. During this week, we got rainy days, sunny days and extremely stormy days. In addition to that unstable weatherconditions, we even got some rodents, that damaged the plants stems and roots. Despite all that trouble, the plants still do grow and thats the only thing that matters.

The weather this week was very rainy and stormy, with a just few hours of sun. Until now, the vole which burrowed in the soil and damaged the stems of all three plants, did not came back, after I refilled the tunnels with compost and set up a rodent repeller. Nevertheless, my neighbors informed me that despite setting up a rodent repeller too, some of their herbs were completely destroyed last night. Maybe I have to think about further ways to protect my plants so they wont get damaged again in the next days. I believe because of the recent stress, all three plants are now showing some little preflowers. The good thing is, that all flowers are actually female.

The thunderstorms finally came to an end and the coming week will bring some sunny days. In the last few days I noticed that some ladybugs got attracted by my plants. They are welcome to stay for a long time. The rodent, which I mentioned in the last week, didn't cause any new damage to my plants. The remaining damage is healing properly. Size difference between all plants: Plant 1: ~100cm Plant 2: ~100cm Plant 3: ~80cm

While this week had a quiet friendly beginning, the weather shifted to a mix of a cool and windy weather with wind gust of 60km/h and night temperatures of down to 5 degree celsius. All this wasn't without any trace, since the plants grew a bit crooked. But overall they don't seem stressed too much. More details about the size: Plant 1: ~121cm Plant 2: ~117cm Plant 3: ~100cm

After a long period of darkness and rain, the weather abruptly got just perfect to grow some stuff. While the days were warm and sunny, the nights were mild with just a little rainfall on one day. The next week may bring some more rain, but the sunny days still make the majority. On plant 1 I noticed a strange detail. As you can see on the pictures, it looks like as if the skin of stem just bursted. I dont know how that could have happened, but it doesn't seem to have a negative impact for the plant. Plant 1 ~162cm Plant 2 ~161cm Plant 3 ~140cm

I initially stated the weather this week will be mostly nice and warm, but it was the actual opposite. We had just 2 nice days and the rest of the week was just rain, storm and no sun at all. I really hope the coming week will bring some sun. Despite all, the plants had time to reach pretty heights. Plant 2 is with 182cm the tallest and thus 3cm larger than me now. Plant 1: ~177cm Plant 2: ~182cm Plant 3: ~160cm

This week was partially rainy and partially sunny, but mostly cloudy. As the plants got a little dense, I defoliated them just a tiny bit in the lower center. While plant 2 tends to grow more upwards, plant 1 and 3 tend to grow a bit bushier at the moment. Plant 1 ~ 193cm Plant 2 ~ 202cm Plant 3 ~ 175cm

This week was monstly warm and sunny. On one day, there was a pretty violent Thunderstorm, which blew plant number 3 a bit to the side and minimised her gain in height. Plant number 1 and 2 in the meantime had no problem with the Storm. In the past few weeks, plant number 1 developed some purple stems. It could just be due to the genetic, but in some cases could also mean some kind nutrient defficiency, so I added some organic fertilizers consisting of guano and bonemeal as topping for every plant just to be sure. Out of all Plants, plant number 2 is not only the tallest Plant, she is also the bushiest. Plant 1 ~208cm Plant 2 ~220cm Plant 3 ~184cm

The weather this week was partially very hot and partially rainy. Im very happy about the shape of plant number 2, plant number 1 on the other hand looks a bit messy and plant number 3 is still bent to the side due to the last thunderstorm. While it may look a bit odd, it can be seen as a natural form of LST, which may have some interesting results later. Plant 1 ~220cm Plant 2 ~230cm Plant 3 ~196cm

This week was very hot and sunny, but the growth slowed a bit down. The photos this week were directly taken after a hefty thunderstorm with extreeme rain. As you can see in the pictures, Plant number 1 lost one of the lower branches. The branch was not completely loose, so i try to fix it back in place, maybe it can heal on again. I am a bit worried about the leafs of plant number 1, because they developed some brown spots in some of the upper leafs of the main top. Im not sure if this is caused by some malnutrition or by some kind of fungus. Plant number 2 had no problems, but instead of growing upwards, she stretches more to the side. On plant number 3 the same thing happened as with plant number 1 but even with 2 branches. In this case the branches were not as hard broken as on plant number 1, so it was easier to fix it back in place. Hopefully both branches can heal on again. Plant 1 ~230 Plant 2 ~240 Plant 3 ~210

This first presumed flowering week was a tough test for my plants. In the night to wednesday (Day 139) we had an extreme Thunderstorm which brought all three Plants to their limit: Plant number 1 was extremely bent in one direction. Luckily the stem was not Broken, so we were Able to bring the plant back in shape with the help of a wooden peg. Plant number 2 has always grown slightly tiltet in one direction, but the severe weather made her even more tiltet, so she also got a wooden peg to support her. Plant number 3 suffered the worst damage. She broke two sidebranches at her base, which left some serious wounds. Because the broken branches were not completely seperated from the plant, I tried to fix them back in place. Nearly 48 hours later, the leafs of the broken branches are still looking unaffected, so my hopes are high, that the branches are not lost. Finally she also got a wooden peg to keep her in place. One day later (Day 140) the plants seem a bit sturdier again. On some of the upper leafs you can notice some yellow coloration. I believe this is caused by a imbalance in PH. In order to challenge this, I'm going to water all plants with a solution consisting of water, succinic acid, and fertilizers as a short term solution.

At the end of the week the weather took an abrubt turn. It suddently got pretty cool and soaking wet. Its the perfect conditions for mold to grow, but at the moment the plants are looking fine. The buds on all plants got denser and I call it a nice progrss. It also seems that all plants have reached their final heights.

Every day this week was just rainy and cold. Additionally to that, we had extreme windgust that broke some branches and really took my plants to their limits as you can see in the photos. Plant number 3 developed some mouldy spots in two buds so far which I immediatly cut away. The coming week will be a bit more friendly again. Apart from that, I really enjoy the purple colors on plant number 2. All in all the plants still need some time to develop some denser buds but plant number 3 is a bit faster. I really hope there will be not another week like this.

The weather this week was again a dangerous mix of long rain and cool temperatures. The rain is soaking the buds, that the branches bent over, so I had to stabilize the plants a little bit. Aditionally to that, I have to carefully watch out for mold. Plant 1 and 2 had no mold yet but plant number 3 had some moldy spots that had to be removed. If there is one good thing about the current weather, it's that it triggers pretty nice colors around the buds.

It's october 23rd and after 3-4 weeks of constant rain, the weather finally took a very welcome change back to sun and relatively warm day temperatures. In terms of mold, I had to throw away some buds, but the majority of the buds are healthy. The following week will be the last Week of flowering before I will harvest the rest of the plants.

Plant 1: Harvested in November 1st, 2024 This Plant was with 265cm the second tallest plant out of the 3 plants. The flowers showed a very interesting combination of colors. The leafs around the flowers developed a purple color which almost turned black in the final days of flower, while the inner part of the flowers was mostly green whith a purple touch. Sadly this plant had some serious mold problems, which reduced the yield by approximately 40%. The final weight after wet trimming was 1260g wet and 378g dried. Plant 2: Harvested in November 1st, 2024 This plant was with 270cm the tallest out of the 3 plants. The flowers of her showed a nice deep purple color. Some flowers were also infeced with mold, which affected approximately 10% of the yield. The final weight after wet trimming was 2330g and 699g dried. Plant 3: This plant was with 255cm a bit smaller but her flowering finished 2 Weeks earlier than the other plants. Other than her sisters, her flowers stayed completely green. Like the other plants she was also affected by mold, which resulted in a loss of approximately 10%. The final yield after wet trimming was 1923g wet and 577g dried.
