Day 8:
Everything has been going smoothly up until now. Unfortunately, our tent hasn't been delivered to us on time, but we're remaining optimistic about our plants. We're hopeful that they'll continue to thrive despite the delay. We're grateful for any ideas or tips you might have to help us along the way. Additionally, we're considering purchasing another lamp to support our grow. Any thoughts or recommendations on this front would be greatly appreciated. Let's keep the positivity and green vibes going strong
Day 9:
Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you a quick update on our plants. They're looking amazing right now and growing at a rapid pace – it's really impressive to see! We're all excited about the progress and can't wait to see how they continue to flourish. If anyone has any tips or advice for maximizing our yields, feel free to share them in the comments below. Let's keep this green goodness going
Day 10:
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share that we've been pondering the idea of getting a 600-watt HPS lamp once the tent arrives, to complement the LED we've got. Our plants are looking fantastic and are growing really quickly right now – it's pretty exciting! Since they're likely to grow even bigger – fingers crossed! – we thought adding the HPS lamp might help ensure we all have plenty to enjoy. What do you all think of the idea? Open to any suggestions or improvements, so please feel free to drop them in the comments below!
Day 11:
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to give you a quick update: our plants are doing really well! Their leaves are almost 4cm long now, and they seem to be thriving. 🌿✨
Day 12
Hey everyone! Just a quick update: the tent still hasn't arrived, but we're hoping it'll be here by the end of the week. We've had some issues with our package and DPD, but fingers crossed it gets sorted soon.
It feels like our plants are growing faster every day! 🌱✨
I've been thinking about another step forward: what do you all think about transplanting them into 20-liter pots in a month? Good idea, or maybe not? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Day 17: Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share a quick update: we're now in the third week, and things are looking good! 🌿 We finally got our tent, and the seedlings are thriving in there. We've also got the ventilation sorted with a fan that moves 380m2/s, perfect for our 100cmx100cmx200cm tent.
Next month, we're planning to get the HPS lamp installed and set up. Can't wait to see how they'll respond to it! 🌱💡
Day 22:
"Hey everyone!
Just a quick update: our plants are looking pretty good! We're planning to start Low Stress Training (LST) this week to help shape them.
Also, we're probably going to buy the HPS lamp this week. Excited to see how they'll respond to the new light! 🌱💡"
Day 27:
"Update: We started with LST, and they're reacting really well to it! 🌿 Also, we're probably buying the lamp tomorrow.
In addition, we've noticed some very small shoots, so we decided to trim off the lower leaves that were turning yellow or getting very little light. They're looking healthier already! 🌱✂️"
Day 28:
Hey everyone!
Exciting update: we topped one of the Hulk Berry plants, and they're responding well to it! 🌿
Also, we decided to go with two LED lights from Cosmos instead of the HPS lamp. These are 120 watts each, full spectrum, dimmable, and they have separate modes for growth and bloom. Plus, they were a great deal compared to the Spider Farmer lights. Can't wait to see how they perform! 💡🌱
Quick question for you all: do you think we should remove some of the leaves that are shading the lower branches? We noticed that these shaded branches are growing smaller due to lack of light. What do you think?
Here's what I'm thinking: I believe removing some of the larger fan leaves to allow light to reach the lower branches could be beneficial. It would encourage more even growth and better bud development throughout the plant. What's your take on this?
Day 29:
Hey everyone!
Quick update: all the plants are reacting really well to the new LED lights! 🌿💡 It's amazing to see how they respond to the change in light.
I'm really excited to see how they progress over the next few days. Stay tuned for more updates!"

Day 35:
"Hey everyone!
Update time: We defoliated the plants two days ago, and they are developing nicely. 🌿
However, we're currently facing a challenge with the temperature. During the day, it gets above 28°C for about 4-5 hours. Despite our 360 m³/h exhaust system, we can't keep the humidity high enough to offset the heat, and our humidifier isn't powerful enough.
I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain the tent at 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better.
Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Day 36:
"Hey everyone!
Just a quick update: I removed a few more leaves here and there and did one last round of LST (low stress training). 🌿 The plants are looking great, and I'm going to let them recover now before sending them into the flowering stage. I'm really excited to see them start blooming in 2-3 weeks!
Also, a quick update on our temperature issue: today, the temperature stayed below 26.8°C, which is great news! However, we still need to find a solution to keep the humidity levels up. Our 360 m³/h exhaust system isn't able to maintain the required humidity level. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better.

Day 37:
Hey everyone!
Tomorrow, we're planning to buy some Cal-Mag because we suspect the yellowing leaves might be due to a calcium-magnesium deficiency. We're also going to get a pH test kit to make sure everything is balanced properly.
Do you think this is a good idea? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Day 38:
Hey everyone!
Quick update: it turns out the yellowing leaves were due to a nitrogen deficiency. We increased the fertilizer dosage today, so the plants should start looking better in 4 to 5 days. 🌿
Thanks for all the support and suggestions
Day 39:
Hey everyone!
Another quick update: after increasing the fertilizer yesterday to address the nitrogen deficiency, it should take about 4 to 5 days for the yellow leaves to turn green again. 🌿
We're already seeing improvements! The plants have grown significantly and are developing a dense canopy once more. It's great to see them bouncing back so quickly!
Day 41:
"Hey everyone!
Quick update: we've removed the bands we were using for LST (low stress training) and are now letting the plants grow freely. 🌿 We plan to keep them in the vegetative phase for about one more week before transitioning them to the flowering phase.
Excited to see how they continue to develop!"
Hey everyone!
Just a quick recap from last week: we've removed the LST bands and are letting the plants grow freely. They are looking fantastic and have developed a very dense canopy. 🌿
Now, we're at a bit of a crossroads regarding when to start the flowering phase. The back three plants from our second grow are only 23 days old, and I’d prefer not to have any plants outside the tent.
Today, we're changing the light cycle from 20/4 to 18/6. This will give the plants more time to rest, which should help them grow even stronger. 🌱 The 18/6 cycle means 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, providing the plants with more downtime to recuperate and grow.
Excited to see how they respond to this change!
Day 45 (First Grow):
Hey everyone!
Exciting update: we’ve built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants! 🌿 For those who don’t know, a SCROG net helps to train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it with our six plants to ensure they all get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy.
We've also placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas.
Do we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or would a dehumidifier be a better option?
We’re leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
Day 46 (First Grow):
Hey everyone!
Exciting news: the plants have names now! 🌿 This will make it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to watch them grow and thrive!
Day 50 (First Grow):
"Hey everyone!
Quick update: we transplanted the plants, and they’re settling into their new pots nicely. 🌿
Just a quick recap from last week:
We've named all the plants, making it easier to track their progress.
We've set up a SCROG (Screen of Green) net to help train the plants and ensure even growth.
We're monitoring the humidity levels closely with a hygrometer and considering adding more fans to improve air circulation.
Excited to see how they continue to develop as we prepare for the flowering phase! Stay tuned for more updates!"
Day 53 (First Grow):
Hey everyone!
Exciting news: we’ve added a new member to our grow tent – a praying mantis! 🦗 Her species is Timor shield mantis, and she still needs a name.
We decided to get her to help with pest control naturally. Praying mantises are excellent predators and can help keep unwanted insects away from our plants.
Feel free to suggest a name for her! Any tips or fun facts about keeping a mantis in the grow tent are also welcome!
Day 54 (First Grow):
Hey everyone!
Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸
Our plants have developed a nearly complete and dense canopy, and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds.
For those following along, here’s a quick recap:
We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution.
We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control.
The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy.
Now that the flowering phase is starting, we’re excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this phase? Let us know in the comments!
Day 57 (First Grow):
Hey everyone!
We’re kicking off a new week and our plants are now well into the flowering phase. 🌸 Since switching to the 12/12 light cycle, we’ve noticed incredible growth, with the plants shooting up 5-10 cm every day.
The SCROG net is working wonders, keeping the canopy even and ensuring all parts of the plants get enough light. Our Timor shield mantis is doing a great job with natural pest control, keeping everything in balance.
We've also placed a hygrometer within the canopy to keep an eye on humidity levels, which sometimes exceed 70%. We're thinking about adding a dehumidifier to maintain optimal conditions and prevent any issues.
Any advice on managing this rapid growth or keeping humidity in check? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
Day 64 (First Grow, Flowering Phase):
Hey everyone!
We’re on day 64, and the flowering phase is in full swing. The buds are forming beautifully, and the plants have grown 5-10 cm above the SCROG net, creating a lush canopy. The humidity is steady at around 50% or lower, which is ideal for this stage.
To recap, we've been maintaining an even canopy with the SCROG net and our Timor shield mantis continues to keep pests at bay naturally. Our plants are thriving, thanks to the even light distribution and careful humidity control.
We're considering installing a second fan in a few weeks to improve airflow and potentially adding a second SCROG net to support the plants as they continue to stretch during flowering. This should help stabilize the plants and ensure they get the support they need as the buds get heavier.
Any tips or advice for the next steps? Let us know in the comments!
**Day 71 (First Grow, Flowering Phase):**
Hey everyone!
It's the start of a new week, and we're now on day 71 of our first grow. The plants are looking fantastic and have filled out the tent beautifully. 🌱💚
This week, we did some lollipopping to remove the lower growth and focus the plant's energy on the top buds. This should help improve airflow and light penetration, ensuring our buds develop nicely.
The SCROG net is still working wonders, and the plants continue to stretch and fill out. However, we’ve been having some issues with humidity. With the recent rain, it’s been hovering around 60-65%, which is a bit higher than we'd like during the flowering phase.
We’re considering adding a dehumidifier to bring it down to the ideal range. Any tips or suggestions for managing humidity during this stage would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for all your support and suggestions. Any tips for the upcoming weeks are always welcome!!
Day 79 (First Grow, Flowering Phase):
Hey everyone!
It's the start of a new week, and we're now on day 79 of our first grow. The flowering phase is progressing beautifully, with the buds getting bigger and frostier day by day. 🌸✨
We've started to see the formation of orange hairs, which is a promising sign of the buds maturing. The plants are looking healthy and vibrant, and the SCROG net is helping to keep everything well-supported and evenly exposed to light.
Humidity issues from last week are still being monitored, and we're considering adding a dehumidifier to ensure optimal conditions as we move closer to harvest.
Thanks for all your support and suggestions. Any tips for these final weeks of flowering are always welcome!
Day 85: First Grow
We’re entering a new week, and it’s exciting to see the progress in our first grow. The plants are thriving, and the buds continue to get thicker and frostier. The formation of orange hairs is becoming more pronounced, indicating that we're on the right track.
This week, we’ve decided to order a microscope to monitor trichome development more closely. Additionally, we're considering adding CANNAZYM to our feeding regimen to support bud growth and overall plant health.
Let’s keep pushing forward and make this a successful grow!
We’re now entering the sixth week of the flowering stage, and things are looking great. The buds are continuing to thicken and are becoming frostier with each passing day. The orange hairs are becoming more prominent, signaling that we’re making good progress.
This week, we’ve ordered a microscope to get a closer look at the trichomes and better gauge the optimal harvest time. Additionally, we’re planning to add CANNAZYM to our nutrient schedule to help the buds grow even larger and healthier.
Here’s to another week of exciting growth!!
Day 99: New Week
We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly.
The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time.
48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.
My first grow has been a great learning experience, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the reliable BioBizz soil and nutrients to the impressive performance of the Spider Farmer SF 1000, everything worked well together. Each component contributed to a successful harvest, and I’m excited to continue experimenting and improving my setup with new gear and techniques.
💚☀️🤙🏼
