Day 0: dropped a new seed since I apparently drowned the first one.
Day 3: seed popped above the soil, so I put the jiffy pellet in a cup in the tent next to her sister. I may switch the tent occupants since two of them have much shorter flowering periods.
Day 4: watered with URB foliar and cal-mag foliar spray.
Day 6: watered with URB foliar and cal-mag foliar spray.
Day 8: Coming along nicely one week behind her sisters.
Day 10: Looking good and today I turned on the boost switch along with the Veg switch.
Day 11: This small cup is drying out quickly, so I have been giving small daily drinks. I will be transplanting to 1gal pots and lowering the lights soon.
Day 12: Lowered the light to 24" today and gave small drink of URB and cal-mag foliar spray
Day 13: Gave two small drinks today and lowered the space heater temp. I have been refraining from actually soaking the soil and just wetting the top of the soil once a day and I believe this is helping prevent overwatering.
Day 14: I'm not liking the progress in these cups, so I will transplant tomorrow into 1gal fabric pots.
Day 15: Transplanted into 1gal fabric pots with Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil and watered 1qt with 30ml/gal of URB, 5ml EH Cal-mag, and 5ml MFP and sprinkled some Great White rooting powder on the roots and in the soil. I may have been under watering the small pots, as the soil was very very dry even with soaking the top layer everyday. Next time I'll water a little more to make sure the soil is wet enough.
Day 16: The transplant seems to be successful. No signs of stress and she looks happy in her new home.
Day 17: She's starting to take off now. I think that Great White makes a big difference when transplanting!
Day 18: Fed EH early veg week with 3ml instead of 4ml, cal-mag 5ml, and root wizard 15ml
Day 19: Wow! What a difference after one feeding! They have really grown significantly overnight. I'm doing a timelapse and can really see the difference. This will be an interesting grow using EH brand from start to finish.
Day 20: Watered 1 quart of 5ml EH Cal-mag, 5ml EH Sturdy Stalk and .6ml MammothP/gal
Day 21: Sprayed some URB foliar today and just let them do their thing.
Day 22: Fed EH early veg week today. They are really looking good after one week in 1gal pots!
Day 24: Watered 1qt of Cal-Mag, Sturdy Stalk, MammothP today and they are really looking healthy.
Day 26: Transplanted to 7 gam and topped 5th node from each plant. I used Great White root powder sprinkled on the roots and in the transplant hole.
Day 27: Transplant looks to be successful. They were looking a little sad last night, but have completely bounced back and look to be very healthy.
Day 28: Watered a half gallon of Cal-mag, Sturdy Stalk and MammothP. They are really taking off now and when I rub the leaves and smell my fingers, WOAH! These are going to be some stinkers!
Day 29: Looking good and continues fantastic growth. I think I am watering the right amount this time and the growth is showing a great response this time around.
Day 32: I spiked down the 4 mains on each plant today using plant tie downs and wire coat hanger pieces. They are really robust plants for their age compared to previous grows. Either I'm getting the hang of this, or the strains are just going strong or both!
Day 35: Well, I made a mistake and got a bit too heavy handed with the tie down spikes. One of the mains got stretched a bit too far. I didn't see it until today and it doesn't look good, but I applied some Clonex Gel to the wound and moved some leaves away. Maybe it will survive like my other plant did.
Day 36: Not looking good for the branch I messed up. I topped a secondary to make up for the loss. Oh well, live and learn.
Day 36: Fed 1gal of water per plant today. I don't think the broken stem is going to make it, so I topped one of the secondary branches to get a couple more tops in the scrog.
Day 39: Did some additional LST tie downs with plant wire and spread out the canopy so everything underneath is getting more light.
Day 42: Did more LST work to spread out the canopy a bit more. A few weeks to go before adding the screen.
Day 43: A few more weeks before she's ready for the screen, but she smells amazing and is very healthy!
Day 47: I removed the plant tie downs and installed the screens today, as well as turning on the BLOOM switch in addition to the VEG switch. I also bumped the nutes from 4ml to 5ml/gal per the EH feeding chart for late veg feeding.
Day 48 Wow, really big growth spurt after yesterday's feeding. She is already needing to be trained through the screen. SCROG time!
Day 50: Things seem to be pretty dialed in this time. I had actually not been raising the light to the recommended 24" distance, but they didn't seem to mind at all. I did raise them up to about 22", just to be on the safe side and let them grow up into the light. I haven't been foliar feeding as much this time around and there are fewer spots on the leaves and other leaf anomalies that I've seen in the past. Maybe it's the EH nutes keeping everything dialed in? Either way, I'm glad I put the screen on when I did, these babes are growing fast!
Day 51 Increased to 1gal/plant watering volume
Day 53: Lots of growth over the past couple of days and lots of tucking to fill out the screen. This scrog is going MUCH faster than my previous scrogs.
Day 55: Almost time to flip to 12/12! I could wait a bit longer, but I never know how much stretch to allow for, since every plant is different. I might let it go a bit closer to 65-68 days and see what I think.
Day 57 This should be the last week in veg. It might be a partial week...I'll make the call in a few days. I'm excited to see these babes flower!!!
Day 58: Last day of VEG! I set the timer to 12/12 and lower the lights to 18". These babes are ready to switch, based on my past experience. I hope they don't shoot too much in the next couple of weeks! Flower time is here at last!
Day 59: Flower day 1! Fed transistion week 1 nutes today.
Day 61: The plants are stretching nicely and I expect to run out of room on the screen at the outer edges.
Day 63: I'm really surprised how fast Shiskaberry caught up to her tentmate. She's got many bud sites, even after losing one of the mains. It might actually be a good thing I'm down a few tops, since the canopy is getting VERY full!
Day 65: Very healthy plant! The canopy is really filling up and is nearly completely full! I've never filled almost every single square near the outer edge before. I hope the stretch tapers off quickly! Today was a Cal-mag/Sturdy Stalk/MammothP day. 1gal/per plant.
Day 68: This canopy is amazing. I'm very very pleased with these plants! I'm seeing pistils now and after I'm done tucking, my fingers stink!!! Whew!
Day 69: Pistils are clearly visible now as little starter flowers. The tent doesn't smell much, but if you bump leaves or rub a stem, they reallly smell amazing!
Day 72: The buds are beginning to form and the canopy is as full as I could have ever hoped. This is going to be an exciting time as the flowers develop!
Day 76: Beautiful flowers are forming! Pistils everywhere and many many bud sights! I'm looking forward to the coming weeks!
Day 78: Another week, and that much closer to harvest! I raised the light a bit to ensure core 3x3 coverage at 18". There really isn't any smell unless I rub a branch, but the pistils look beautiful and will hopefully grow into some dense buds!
Day 79: Bud are forming nicely, but strangely there is no smell at all in the tent! Oh well, easier to keep stealthy! Bump up in nutes this week for flower week 4.
Day 85: The tent is starting to get a sweeter smell now. I've been letting the buds go and do their thing and there has been significant bud growth this week. I will start having more closeup pics in the coming weeks.
Day 86, Flower day 29: The tent is beginning to smell delicious now! The buds are forming nicely and she appears to be a very happy plant! The colors are amazing on this beauty!
Day 93: Flowers are growing strong and are starting to pack on size and trichome development is well underway!
Day 99: The flowers are packing on weight and the tent smells ridiculous. This tent is 10 degrees cooler than the other tent, due to the added lights in the other, so it's interesting to see the difference in plant growth. I don't seem to see any issues with the lower temps at all. In fact, it might be a more suitable temp for them as they are certainly putting out a lot of sugar in the lower temps. Of course, that could be the strain, but either way, the tents are coming along great! Only a few weeks left to go!
Day 100: The tent is really getting a fruity smell now. Still light in the air, but when I move a bud or rub a stem - WOW hits you like a blast of goodness! The buds are getting very sugary and packing on size!
Day 107: This plant smells soooooo yummy and fruity. Crazy cakes on trichomes on the leaves and even reaching out onto some fan leaf fingers, which is something I've never seen on any plants I've grown. Breeder stats say one more week, but I'll probably need an additional week or two to finish up. Growing with LED seems to take just a bit longer to ripen.
Day 113: This tent is getting closer and closer to being ripe. I'm still seeing some clear trichomes, but it won't be long now. The different in tent smells is staggering. This tent is full of tropical fruit!!!
Day 119, flower day 64: The time is almost here for harvest! I have begun flushing and should be harvesting this coming Sunday (6 days from now). The tent smells like a tropical fruit patch with bad body odor lol. It's sooooo pungent!!! I am going to be floored when I finally start to cut into these beautiful flowers.
Day 125, flower day 70: HARVEST DAY has arrived at last. The tent is so pungent. I took these pics before I chopped and it looks to be a fantastic harvest. I will setup a harvest week once I'm dried and in jars.
This was the fastest plant I’ve ever grown. I had to start a new seed a week after the others and not only did she catch up, she almost grew bigger than her tentmate. 19 full weeks from start to finish! Super sugary buds and I can’t wait until they have finished curing to sample some more! I would definitely grow again!
