Blue Paint by 517 Legend Seed Co. Grow diaries won’t let me change the amount of seeds but suffice it to say it was 100% success rate with 6/6 popping overnight while still in their seed soak (HPO Green Supreme and Antimatter @ 1g each into 250ml of rain water, on a heat mat set to 72f). Strong, broad, healthy tap roots. All seeds went into a 1L starter pot with coco, worm castings and perlite, receiving 30ml of unadulterated rain water. All broke the soil two days later on the 10/04/24 all but one appeared healthy, with the exception emerging pallid, could be due to taproot damage during transplant. Another showed signs of mutation or in vivo damage. Both have come good and showed no signs of stunting, standing at the same height and health as their tent sisters. Currently under 150-180 PPFD, 30ml rain water per day with a tent RH of 75-80%. Boomshanka 🤙 Booka @ BestenDank.

Environmental parameters changed somewhat with a drop in RH and a change in light schedules. The Blue Paint ladies spent their first week after germinating in the nursery tent at 75-80% RH, that’s been dropped in their second week so some older tent sisters could harden off but they’ve been thriving at 60-65% and stand just as tall as those older tent sisters. Lighting also dropped from 24/0 to 18/6 and by all accounts was a welcome change. Some slight structural aberrations on some of the single serrated leaves (likely due to the humidifier running dry for a time) but all three fingered sets are structurally sound, with the emergence of their five set true leaves also looking healthy and sound. The ladies are vibrant and showing uniform growth in both rate and structure. All remain staked and supported which may change with the addition of bio diesel’s foliar solution + Gg silica and bio diesel’s seedling solution mixed to not quite full strength. Onward and upward motherlovers Boomshanka 🤙 Booka @ BestenDank

Goddamn! A massive week of growth! The Blue Paint ladies (Regs, but I’m an optimistic mf’er) didn’t come here to fuck spiders! They’re making a statement on their lineage with amazing uniform growth in both rate and structure. Some height is stretch and that’s my doing, working to diminishing returns when divvying up light intensity between plants of differing heights meant they grew a little further outside of their ideal rate. Mentor advised to up foliar feeds to both night (after lights off) and morning (before lights on) as often as possible, contrary to the feed schedule which called for two foliar sprays a week. Nervous, I got to it, suffice it to say they fucking love it. I was convinced I’d see burning or other signs of stress. Couldn’t be more wrong. Just vigour. Hoping for more stem rigidity before next weeks transplant and rehoming. But beaming at the progress i’m allowed to witness. Stay lifted and boomshanka 🤙 Booka @ BestenDank

Phwoah! Grow Genius silica came thru in a big way, blessing the Blue Paint crew with the rigidity we’d hoped for. One pheno has a slight curve to it and it’s now evident that they’re starting to break away from each other in phenotypical expressions by way of height, strength and leaf structure (possible variations in new growth width), but these might well be environmental influences rather than genetic. Seedling feeding regimen has been swapped out for the veg stack. The environment of the nursery tent saw a slight shift downward in temperature as the seasons press closer to winter but this didn’t stop progress, even after the Blue Paint crew got a repotting, increasing their root space 10 fold. With the increase in legroom they also got an upgrade to first class with a tent of their own as older auto tent sisters were shifted to their final grow space. Unfortunately this might only tide them over for a short while. The worry is, longer than expected flower cycles mean their final home, the photo tent, is still packed to the rafters with ripening flower and Blue Paint is coming up behind at an alarming rate. No choice but to play it by ear and possibly end up making some big purchases, drastic changes or tough calls. Ready and willing if it comes to it, fire genetics over bag seed all day long 😂. If you’re keen to see other stuff I’m doing hit my Insta, Booka @bestendank420. Stay lifted, big love and boomshanka 🤙 Booka @ BestenDank
